Essential Criteria: A degree or third level qualification in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering or Mathematics (or a closely related area) OR at least five years’ experience in a Manufacturing/Packaging environment. Three years’ experience in a management role including managing teams on shift rotas. Experience and understanding of manufacturing, regulatory, quality and validation requirements, manufacturing processes. Ability to motivate and train team members. Experience of environmental, health and safety Experience of control of cross contamination. Experience of documentation associated with a Quality Management System. Understanding of production documentation processes. Demonstrated ability to maintain compliant & safe working environment, delivering products at high quality and in line with regulatory standards. Desirable Criteria: Experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing/Packaging environment. Experience in oral dose manufacturing, Sterile Injectables or other Pharmaceutical dosage formats. Additional Information: This role will be based in a site that produces and handles penicillin, and as such, this role would not be suitable for those that have a penicillin allergy.
