Essential criteria: • Relevant degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the design, development and commissioning/installation of electrical and electronic systems. • Strong and comprehensive understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles, with demonstrated application in complex design. • Proven understanding of regulatory, statutory and safety compliance within engineering design (e.g. relevant national and international standards). • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of designs from concept through to implementation. Desirable: • Experience acting as lead engineer or technical authority on projects. • Ability to review, challenge, and approve design work produced by others. • Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers and designers. • Practical experience with electrical and mechanical CAD tools such as Altium Designer, EPLAN Pro Panel, SolidWorks, or similar.
