Material Handler
Requirements: · Must have experience of working within a manufacturing environment. · Have a good basic understanding of Plastics, IQMS requirements and general warehousing duties within a manufacturing environment. · Must possess good communication skills and be able to liase with staff at all levels within the company. · Ability to work on own initiative. · Identify and report on key production and safety related issues to the Team lead / Manager · Must have the ability to report system issues and/or fix them on a daily / night shift basis. · A good level of computer literacy is essential. Responsibilities: · Responsible for maintaining safety and housekeeping to the highest standards in accordance with cGMP and company policy/customer requirements at all times. · Maintain and support compliance to ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 systems standards. · Responsible for the implementation of all related procedures in his/her area from receipt of materials and packaging to the movement of finished goods to their designated areas. · Responsible for maintaining the real time monitoring system integrity by issuing agreed reports to his/her supervisor each shift. · Ensure correct segregation of all waste materials in accordance with procedures and policies and report breaches were evident. · Ensure the correct material is being used in each location/work centre for every shift and fix/report discrepancies where applicable. · Present finished goods to the warehouse in accordance with cGMP and the appropriate customer requirements/ procedures for that product. · Responsible for the seamless hand over of all related reports and information to his/her supervisor and to his/her colleagues working on opposite shifts. · Ensure correct material balances are always returned to the warehouse.

At our C&D Foods site in Edgeworthstown we are currently inviting applications for the role of Reliability Engineering Manager to support our operations onsite. This role will focus on site equipment improvements in reliability and efficiencies, reducing the equipment downtimes, increasing equipment availability and reducing the cost of ownership of the equipment ultimately reducing the site cost per tonne. Key Responsibilities •Work cross functionally to develop and implement a strategic asset reliability plan supporting both corrective and preventative maintenance for your area meeting all Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability goals are met. •Lead, coach and manage a team of Area leads and PPM maintenance technicians for your plant/ to provide optimum equipment reliability to support the manufacturing operations. •Builds skills capability across the Plant technical/engineering team to engage with latest modern practices. •Provide leadership, coaching to engineering team towards implementation of Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working: delivering zero breakdowns via preventive/predictive maintenance strategies Including PM (Progressive Maintenance), CBM (condition-based monitoring), Visual controls & tools Mgmt., Lubrication mgmt. & Calibration of equipment(s), Breakdown / root cause analysis etc. •Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, align priorities to deliver the company objectives, and goals. •Conduct regular equipment inspections and assessments to identify potential reliability issues and develop strategies to mitigate them. •Analyse equipment failure data to identify trends and patterns and develop strategies to improve equipment reliability. •Lead Breakdown analysis and root cause analysis investigations to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and develop effective corrective actions. •Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies to proactively identify and address potential equipment failures. Personal Competencies & Qualifications: Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Production/Manufacturing) Extensive experience of high-volume manufacturing Extensive experience of Continuous Improvement Data collection and analytic skills using Manufacturing intelligence systems Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Data Analytics, problem solving and team building. Strong people management skills with the ability to drive change.
