This will include establishing and managing a corporate procurement team. Hours of work 36 hours per week. The post holder must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant. Duration of Appointment Permanent. Work Pattern Flexi 36 hours Monday to Friday. Hours of work are kept under review and may change in order to meet operational requirements, providing requisite notice. Location Location is either Downpatrick or Newry. Whilst the current vacant post is based in either Downpatrick or Newry suitable candidates who are placed on a reserve list may be offered a similar post in other Council locations. The post holder may be required to transfer to other locations in accordance with any requirements stated in the Job Description, any reviews of service delivery or other requirements as may arise from time to time. Any amendments made to work location will be implemented following appropriate consultation and provision of reasonable notice. Salary PO5 SCP 40-43, currently £51,356- £54,495 per annum based on a 36 hour week (pro rata to hours worked). It is Council policy to appoint at minimum salary scale point.

Stakeholder Engagement & Events Manager
The Gallery wishes to recruit a Stakeholder Engagement & Events Manager to join the Commercial Department on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will lead the Events Department of the Gallery, ensuring that our stakeholder and client events objectives are consistently achieved. They will develop and oversee the implementation of cohesive event management plans and the associated policies that align with our strategic plan. They will also strategically develop the visibility and awareness of the National Gallery of Ireland as a venue for a wide variety of events. The salary scale for this position is as follows: €58,847 €60,567 €62,285 €64,000 €65,723 €67,437 €69,157 €71,637¹ €74,112² • The starting salary will be at the first point on the scale, €58,847 per annum, or on a higher point of the scale, as appropriate to the successful candidate, if appointed from an existing public sector role (in accordance with Circular 08/2019). • Candidates should note the National Gallery of Ireland complies with Department of Public Expenditure and Reform regulations and guidelines on Public Service pay and conditions of employment.
