Essential Qualifications Senior People / HR leadership experience typically 10+ years within a large, complex organisation (e.g., higher education, public sector, or similarly regulated environment). Demonstrable track record leading enterprise scale transformation and organisational change with measurable outcomes. Proven capability in operating model design, service delivery improvement and driving efficiency through process, technology and shared services. Strong understanding of Irish Higher Education / public sector governance and employment context, including pay frameworks and relevant regulatory requirements. Excellent knowledge of employment law and industrial relations practices. Proven experience advising executive teams, boards, or governing authorities; confident working in complex governance environments. Evidence of effective industrial / employee relations leadership, including constructive engagement with representative bodies and complex casework, unions, government departments, agencies, and sector bodies. Strong data, analytics, and performance orientation — using insights to shape strategy, manage risk and evidence impact. Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams and senior leaders. Experience leading digital transformation within people functions, including the effective use of workforce technologies, data analytics, automation or AI-enabled solutions. Essential Experience Experience implementing or optimising HRIS and digital employee self-service platforms, and workforce analytics capabilities at scale. Qualification in coaching, leadership development, or organisational psychology (or equivalent). What we offer Permanent whole-time role (subject to probation). Salary: €145,800 – €184,250 per annum (Scale B) - Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy, new entrants to the public sector will generally be at first point of scale. 30 days’ annual leave, exclusive of public holidays and Good Friday. There is currently one permanent whole-time vacancy available in the Community Medical Department, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. Consideration will be given to a 0.5wte arrangment for a suitable candidate. A panel may be formed from this campaign from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. Purpose of the Post: Eligibility Criteria: (a) Be a medical practitioner who is registered other than provisionally or temporarily in the Register of Medical Practitioners in Ireland or is entitled to be so registered. What does our payroll team do? Our payroll department process payroll for all our staff worldwide, including weekly and monthly. Randox currently have over 1600 employees. Location : Office based at 55 Diamond Road, Crumlin, Co. Antrim, United Kingdom, BT29 4QY. Contract Offered : Full-time, Permanent Working Hours / Shifts : Monday to Thursday – 8.15am to 5.30pm and 8am to 1pm on a Friday. What does this role involve? This role is responsible for processing all payroll including weekly, monthly and international in an accurate and timely manner, whilst maintaining pension and payroll records. The key duties of the role will include: • Process all UK and Ireland payrolls in house. • Liaise with Bureaus, Accountants and Finance for International payrolls. • Create and maintain staff records on payroll systems. • Generate reports from TMS to use for processing UK and Ireland payments. • Transfer payments via BACS or bank transfer. • Issue pay statements and other documents such as P45 and P60. • Payrolling Benefits in Kind (BIK) through UK payroll and submit HMRC returns. • Assess all staff for Auto-Enrolment pension scheme purposes. • Upload and pay all AE + GPPP contributions to the pension administrators’ online hub (Aegon). • Deal with all HMRC, CSA and NICO queries. • Maintain HMRC statutory payment records. • Deal with any employee queries. • Produce reports for management as required.
