BROTHERS OF CHARITY SERVICES IRELAND – WEST REGION POSTS: TEAM LEADER (Social Care Leader / CNM1 grade) 2 X Permanent Full-Time RINDOON ADULT SERVICES (Athlone, Kilteevan, Roscommon Town) Ref: 92365 A panel may be formed as a result of this process from which subsequent permanent full-time Team Leader appointments within the Rindoon Service location may be offered over the next 6 to 12 months. The Role: The Team Leader has a pivotal role in managing the day to day delivery of services. The Team Leader will provide leadership and supervision to teams while ensuring the development of the service in line with national standards and best practice. The main responsibilities are to assist the Team Manager with the management of the services, such as – person centred planning in line with Personal Outcome Measures ethos and practice, resource management and staffing - includingrosters, staff development, facilitating communication and professional leadership in order to ensure a good quality of life for the people supported. It is the Team Leader’s responsibility to ensure that the life of each person reflects the organisation’s core values: Working Hours: Contracted hours will depend on the grade of the successful candidate - i.e. 78 hours a fortnight (SCL grade) or 75 hours a fortnight (CNM1 grade) rostered flexibly on a 7 day duty roster. The Team leader will work as a frontline member of the team with protected time to carry out specific team leader duties. In addition, a sleep-in and/or night duty commitment may be a requirement of posts in residential services for which the appropriate allowance will be paid. The Brothers of Charity Services Ireland – West Region model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each individual. Annual Leave: Leave will be granted according to the agreed leave assigned to the grade of the successful candidates i.e. Social Care Leader or CNM1.
