Annual Leave Entitlement : Annual leave entitlement is 34-37 days (depending on experience) per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service Overview of the Post: The Respite Services Coordinator/Person in Charge (PIC) will be responsible for the overall management of Enable Ireland’s Ard na Mara Respite Services for adults based in Ladysbridge, East Cork. This includes PIC responsibility for the residential respite service, the management of staff and providing the highest standards of residential respite and alternative respite services and individualised packages of care when required. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and implementation of Enable Ireland policies and procedures supporting best care and practice in disability services. The main responsibilities include working in partnership with service owners, their representatives/families, resource management, ensuring a safe effective service to service owners, staff development, standard setting and monitoring, facilitating communication and managing staff teams to deliver the service. The post holder will also have a lead role in the management and monitoring of risk, safeguarding and Health and Safety across adult respite and day services.
