MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB This role sits within the new Business Support division within the newly created Corporate & Support Services Directorate. Reporting to the Governance & Democratic Services Manager you will be responsible for the organisation and administration of meetings of Full Council, its Committees in accordance with the Standing Orders, regulation and best practice. You will advise members and officers on the application of the Council’s Standing Orders. You and your team will support the induction, training and development of elected members. You will, along with your team, act as lead officers for managing the Council’s scrutiny function.
