Details of Service Dublin South, Kildare and West Wicklow consists of 14 primary care networks. Each Network has Primary Care Teams who provide multidisciplinary services to distinct populations. These teams are based in Primary Care Centres located within the populations they serve Occupational therapists provide services to clients of all ages who live within the catchment area. Occupational therapists are key members of the primary care team and have opportunities to participate in integrated care in collaboration with our acute partners, voluntary agencies and community services across the CHO. The OT will be supported at all times by an experienced OT manager who will provide structured supervision, mentoring and clinical governance. The Occupational Therapy manager will support engagement in continuous professional development and opportunities for engagement in quality improvement initiatives. Primary Care Occupational Therapy Adult The model of service is mainly home based with interventions provided including falls prevention, cognitive rehabilitation, community skills training and self-care reablement. Occupational therapists also provide clinic-based services such as lifestyle redesign groups, health promotion groups, assistive technology training, complex seating assessments and upper limb rehabilitation. The primary focus is on helping the client to achieve their maximum potential in the areas of functional participation, health promotion and occupational wellness. Primary Care Occupational Therapy Paediatrics Occupational therapy is provided to children aged 0 – 18 years on a referral basis. The primary focus is to support children meet their maximum potential, through appropriate assessment and goal directed interventions. The model of service is clinic based and/or school based. Both individual and group interventions are provided as appropriate to best meet the child’s needs. Paediatric occupational therapy interventions are evidence based and could include fine and gross motor skills training, handwriting and sensory integration programmes. The occupational therapist would be expected to liaise with the Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) and Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to ensure the needs of the children who live in the area are best met. The occupational therapist provides child centred interventions with all treatment planning based on the individual needs and goals of the child and their family. Integrated Care for Older Persons Senior Occupational Therapist (linked with Tallaght University Hospital, St James University Hospital, Naas General Hospital): The senior occupational therapist on the integrated older person’s service will work alongside a specialist multidisciplinary service primarily targeting and managing the complex care needs of the older person with multiple co-morbidities across a continuum of care. The overall aims of the service are to develop a person-centred care planning approach that supports robust and timely communication across care settings. You will work to reduce Emergency Department (ED) attendance through the development of care pathways that support GPs and others in assessment of older people with escalating care needs. You will provide support and education to the older person, carers and healthcare professionals. The post holder will be based in the community working closely with our acute hospital colleagues across Frailty @ the Front Door teams and other Older Persons services in the acute sector, primary care, community care and with our voluntary colleagues.

Psychology services include assessment, interventions, consultation, research, education and support. Such psychological services will be delivered in line with CRC strategy and objectives and within established professional standards, guidelines and policy. The Head of Psychology will play a pivotal role in the implementation of the CRC strategy including a key focus on developing services in the areas of autism and neurodiversity. This dynamic leader will lead the re-pivoting and expansion of our services to encompass more than just physical disabilities. The Head of Psychology will be a key leader of clinical staff in delivering the CRC’s ambition for service delivery. Coimisiún na Meán Vision and Mission Coimisiún na Meán is Ireland’s agency for developing and regulating a thriving, diverse, creative, safe and trusted media landscape. As the independent media regulator, Coimisiún na Meán is responsible for regulating broadcasters, video-on-demand providers and online platforms established in Ireland. Their wide-reaching remit also includes supporting and developing the Irish media sector. About This Role The Platform Supervision and Investigations division’s main function is to supervise digital services in Ireland and enforce the Digital Services Act (DSA), Terrorist Content Online Regulation and Online Safety Code. It consist of four supervisory teams, an Investigations team and a Regulatory Operations team which help determine regulatory strategy. The User Complaints team also sits in this division and is responsible for receiving complaints against service providers for alleged infringements of the DSA. The mission of the Platform Supervision and Investigations division is to understand the services and operations of the organisations that Coimisiún na Meán regulates, and to hold regulated entities to account. This includes monitoring compliance with regulatory obligations, resolving issues voluntarily when appropriate, handling user complaints and taking formal compliance action when warranted. User Complaints Team The User Complaints team sits within the Platform Supervision and Investigations Division and is responsible for receiving complaints against service providers for alleged infringements of the DSA. This team receives complaints escalated via the User Experience team, and also directly from other Digital Services Coordinators (DSCs) across the EU, in relation to service providers who are based in Ireland. This team progresses complaints in line with relevant legislation (section 201 of the Broadcasting Act 2009, as amended), and can also transmit complaints to the European Commission, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), and other DSCs across the EU as necessary. The work of the team is fast-paced and diverse. Investigations Team The Investigations team sits within the Platform Supervision and Investigations Division and is responsible for investigating alleged breaches of regulations, including the DSA, Terrorist Content Online Regulation and the Online Safety Code. The team must investigate alleged breaches in accordance with relevant legislation and adhere to fair procedures. The team is also responsible for supporting the European Commission with certain of its investigation and if a request has been made under Article 66 of the DSA.
