Are you working in the hospitality industry in Dublin, living in Kildare, Carlow, West Wicklow or South Dublin. Sick of the N7 and M50. We are located just outside the village of Dunlavin about 10km from Jct 3 on the M9. So if you are tied of the long commute Rathsallagh is an ideal choice. The business here is 90% event driven, it’s a 3 to 4 day week January to May then 4 to 5 May to end of September etc. Working days are predominantly Thursdays to Sundays inclusive. With the team here weekends off are easily arranged. Hours are typically 3pm or 4pm to finish busiest days of the week Thursday Friday and Saturday. We are closed for Christmas 22nd to 27th December inclusive . This position would suite a candidate that wants to work in a stress free environment, with regular hours and a foreknowledge of catering requirements such that rosters can be planned months in advance. The number of working days can be selected by the candidate if required in that we are happy to secure only 2 or 3 days a week from a candidate leaving him or her free to pursue other interests / business opportunities at the same time. Incremental credit will be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland (Department of Health Circular 2/2011). This shift pattern for this role will generally be Monday to Friday however flexibility with will be required in line with service delivery. The successful candidate will also be involved in the implementation of an educational, social, vocational, recreational and personal development programme for adults with an intellectual disability. In line with new directions and extended opening hours the successful candidates will also be responsible for providing family support, coordinating social groups and evening activities and providing one to one supports in the community as required. The successful candidates will also have responsibility in a key worker role for the people supported by the services to form links and interests and partnerships with other community groups. This role will involve working with adults with Autism, complex needs and people with physical disabilities. The instructor will be responsible in supporting individuals with all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes support with meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being, to the extent required by the individual.
