The person appointed to posts will work as part of multidisciplinary teams delivering a coordinated approach to client care either in Adult and Children Services Primary Care or Older Persons Services. The Occupational Therapy Services within Community Healthcare Services in Sligo / Leitrim / West Cavan / South Donegal provide, high quality, holistic and client centred care at the right time and in the right place to those in our community, according to principles of Sláintecare. The Occupational Therapy team have varying and innovative clinical roles at Occupational Therapy Assistant, Staff grade, Senior, Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist and Management grades. All staff have access to and engage in formal clinical supervision with a designated supervisor and can also access peer supervision on a regular basis. Community Healthcare Services are the broad range of services that include Primary Care, Disability Services, Older Person Services, Mental Health and Health & Wellbeing Services. These services are delivered through the HSE and its funded agencies to people in local communities, as close as possible to people’s homes.
