Financial Accountant
Financial Accountant Glanbia An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join the Finance Information Risk Management (FIRM) Team. The role will be based in Kilkenny, with a hybrid working arrangement available through our Smart Working model, offering greater flexibility and work‑life balance. This is a one‑year fixed-term contract, and the role will report directly to the Manager of the Finance Information Risk Management Team. This position offers an excellent career development opportunity within a high-growth, global organisation for an ambitious, high-performing individual. Role Summary The Financial Accountant will become a knowledge expert and business partner on Glanbia financial statements and systems which are deployed across the Group. The role will drive the maintenance and enhancement of global finance documentation, policies and systems used to manage and control finance change for Glanbia entities worldwide. The role requires regular engagement with stakeholders at all levels across the Group, the Finance Transformation Team (FTT) and within the FIRM team. Financial Inclusion Manager

BAND: 6 JOB PURPOSE: The postholder will be responsible for the delivery of a customer focused financial inclusion service which embraces the Housing Executive’s culture, current and future legislation, policy and procedures and best practice to customers, who may have a range of vulnerabilities, to reduce financial exclusion among our customers. REQUIREMENTS: 1. i) Have a degree level qualification or equivalent AND have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in an advisory role delivering welfare benefits and money/debt advice with a wide-ranging knowledge of financial products and services available for customers OR ii) Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development or experiential learning AND have at least 3 years’ experience of working in an advisory role delivering welfare benefits and money/debt advice with a wide-ranging knowledge of financial products and services available for customers APPLICATION PROCESS Application should be made using the on-line application form.
