About the role We are currently recruiting for General Operatives in our Kerry Dairy Ireland site in Listowel. This is a full-time, fixed term position for 9 months working on either a 3 cycle shift pattern (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am) OR a 4 cycle shift pattern (7am - 7pm, 7pm - 7am) The General Operative role itself is varied, and depending on your skills and training, you can be assigned to the different parts of the site. Any previous experience as a production operative, warehouse operative, forklift operative, line operative or machine operator will be an advantage. What will I be doing? Ensuring all operations are carried out as per procedures.Complying with all Safety and Environmental standards.Maintaining the production areas in a clean and organized mannerDeveloping a working knowledge and understanding of relevant plant equipment.Engaging in cross-training and being flexible to work in other shifts if required .Ensuring all appropriate documentation is completed in a neat and timely manner.Adopting a proactive approach in achieving site, departmental, and individual targets What do I need to be successful? The overall purpose of this role is to embed and sustain Quality and Food Safety policies across operations. This is a lead role in driving a ‘right first time’ culture and performance in the plant by ensuring that processes and operations meet customer and regulatory requirements. A key deliverable will be reducing the occurrence of defects against quality standard across all functions. The role will involve collaboration with all stakeholders to continuously improve performance to quality standard and to drive all Quality-relevant Corrective and Preventative actions to timely and effective completion. Location : Randox Site 4, 44 Largy Road, Antrim, BT29 4RN. Contract Offered: Full-time, fixed-term with chance of being made permanent Working Hours / Shifts: Night shifts only. (4 night shifts, 4 nights off) 7pm-7am. Payrate: £12.50p/h . Hours worked between 10.00pm and 6.00am are paid at £15.62 p/h. What does the Manufacturing Operative role involve? The successful candidate’s main responsibility will be the operation of automated liquid dispensing/labelling lines. The successful candidate will be cross trained across our auto dispense, manual dispense and labelling teams. Full training will be provided.
