Job Description The Virtual Art department, under supervision of the VAD Creative Director - is the link between physical sets and virtual assets, working closely with Art department and construction, to design physical sets which can be integrated digitally. And in consequence, creating Dynamic Digital Backdrops, built from high fidelity 3d assets that are virtually identical to their physical counterparts. The VAD trainee role will include learning the design process of creating a world composed of both physical set and dynamic digital backdrop, as well as the 3D workflow used to convert CAD sets, or drawings into high fidelity 3d assets. Essential Criteria: ▪ Good working knowledge of 3d modelling ▪ A general understanding of UV unwrapping and digital texturing ▪ Problem Solving skills ▪ Ability to take direction as well as initiative in tasks ▪ Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team Desirable Criteria: ▪ An understanding of Fusion 360, Unreal Engine, Substance painter ▪ Previous Architectural experience, either through academic study, or trainee art department role
