Trainee Manager

To achieve this, we work hard, accept responsibility and seek every opportunity to learn about pets and customers. We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Manager for our Dublin Stores. As this position will cover in multiple sites, applicants must have flexibility to travel between multiple store locations; therefore, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. The Store Manager is a leader who is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. The Store Manager reports to the District Manager, and together they provide a smooth and profitable operation by driving revenue and managing costs while creating a culture based on the highest quality pet care and exceptional customer service. What you will do: · Operational Store Excellence - Drive operational excellence in your store by ensuring adherence to store processes andguidelines within the framework of the Corporate Centre Standards. Utilise operational store analytics to optimize efficiency, streamline processes, and drive informed decision-making for enhanced store performance. · Operational Store Analytics – Exceed company KPI’s, Cash & Stock Management Audit, management of store personnel costs and sales performance. · Leadership - Empower your team's growth and success through supportive leadership, training, and a culture of trust and respect. Champion engagement and continuous learning, ensuring every team member thrives and contributes to our shared success. · Merchandise and Inventory - Curate an enticing shopping experience with impeccable availability, planogram implementation and ensuring accurate inventory management. · Customer Engagement - Driving customer engagement through exemplary service, while ensuring the entire team upholds the standard. · Brand Integrity - Ensuring that the animals entrusted to us are well cared for at all times, and that the welfare of the animal comes first. Virtual Art Dept Trainee
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland. Hours: 40 hours per week – start and finish times may vary depending on the work schedule at the time. Who is eligible to apply? Job Description The Virtual Art department, under supervision of the VAD Creative Director - is the link between physical sets and virtual assets, working closely with Art department and construction, to design physical sets which can be integrated digitally. And in consequence, creating Dynamic Digital Backdrops, built from high fidelity 3d assets that are virtually identical to their physical counterparts. The VAD trainee role will include learning the design process of creating a world composed of both physical set and dynamic digital backdrop, as well as the 3D workflow used to convert CAD sets, or drawings into high fidelity 3d assets. Essential Criteria: ▪ Good working knowledge of 3d modelling ▪ A general understanding of UV unwrapping and digital texturing ▪ Problem Solving skills ▪ Ability to take direction as well as initiative in tasks ▪ Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team Desirable Criteria: ▪ An understanding of Fusion 360, Unreal Engine, Substance painter ▪ Previous Architectural experience, either through academic study, or trainee art department role
