Working 10 hours per week from 5.30pm to 8.00pm Wednesday and Thursday, and 9.00am to 2.00pm Friday, according to the rota. Additional hours may be required from time to time and applicants must be fully flexible to work according to the rota. Working as part of a team duties can include; sales of over the counter medicines, providing customers with information on symptoms and products, prescription receipt and collection, date checking, and the ordering, receiving and storing of pharmaceutical stock. Trainee Pharmacy Technician Apprentice
Full Time Pharmacy Technician (40 hours per week) Competitive rates of pay and additional Company benefits given. Candidates should: • Have previous experience working in a busy Pharmacy and have undertaken NVQ qualifications or be willing to work towards achieving these qualifications. • Have experience working within a Pharmacy Technician role. • Be able to work on their own initiative as well as work as a critical member of the team. • Be hard working and enthusiastic. • Demonstrate excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail skills. • Be flexible to work between 9-6 Monday to Friday and 1 in 4 Saturdays (9-1) • Be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) with Maths at grade C or above. Duties will include: • Working under the supervision of the Pharmacist you will supply medicines to patients (either on prescription or over the counter) • Provide information to patients and other healthcare professionals • Manage dispensary with the Pharmacist • Undertaking stock rotation and management of stock – reordering stock as and when required. • Adhering to safe work practices in accordance with Company process and legislation. • Providing excellent customer service. • Carrying out duties as directed and supervised by the Pharmacist.
