Rural And Regeneration Manager

GRADE: 7 JOB PURPOSE: To manage a comprehensive rural and regeneration service including monitoring and delivery of the Rural Strategy and Action Plan, identification and assessment of rural housing need, coordination of rural site identification studies and delivery of regeneration programmes including Small Pockets of Deprivation and the RDP match funding programme. The post-holder will also be responsible for ensuring organisational compliance with the Rural Needs Act (NI) 2016. REQUIREMENTS: 1. i) Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent level qualification (Level 6*), [preferably in Environmental Planning accredited by RTPI or Sustainable Rural Development] and demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience working in a rural or urban housing and planning environment OR ii) Candidates must hold a HND or equivalent level qualification (Level 5*) and demonstrate a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience working in a rural or urban housing and planning environment OR iii) Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development of experiential learning and demonstrate at least 5 years’ relevant experience working in a rural or urban housing and planning environment.
