Team Leader

Copelands, a new view of caring… We are currently recruiting for Copelands, Belfast Central Mission’s new flagship project. Copelands will encompass a new, bespoke care model “BUTTONS” which has already been developed practicing person centred care and choice for residents. Our aim is to provide the best possible care to frail older people, including those living with dementia. The home has been designed with the differing cognitive, social, and physical abilities of the residents in mind. We will be promoting the use of familiar and recognisable surroundings and activities to stimulate residents’ deepest and earliest memories.  We are currently recruiting for: X1Team Leader- Nights: 39 hours per week X2 Team Leaders- Nights: 26 hours per week SO, WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Assisting the Registered Manager with the day to day organisation and management of staff, resources and the provision of individual care to residents. Take full responsibility for the same in the absence of the manager, ensuring continued high standards of care and following policy and procedures. WHAT WE NEED This is not a job for everyone, so we wish to recruit staff who have a genuine interest in this area of work and are keen to make a difference. Staff should be: Compassionate Have a high degree of empathy Respectful to everyone Have a high degree of integrity Resilient and able to cope with the many challenges which are presented. We need our Team Leaders to be confident and competent and able to stand in for the Registered Manager in their absence.
