Job Summary This post is in Network 13: Carrigaline/Kinsale/Bandon Children’s Disability Network Team (CKB CDNT), working as part of an interdisciplinary team providing supports to children and young people, 0-18yrs and their families. The criteria for CNDT is children with complex needs arising from a disability, where those needs require the support of an interdisciplinary disability team. This might include children with intellectual, physical, sensory disability, Autism and children at risk of or query developmental delay. These teams are under the national model of service provision “Progressing Disability Services for Children and Young People” lead by the HSE. The successful candidate will be employed by Corlann South. The Carrigaline/Kinsale/Bandon team is based in Carrigaline and Bandon. Assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions are provided in the context of an interdisciplinary team. The CDNT aims to maximise the child/ young adult’s full potential and works within the context of the family and community, empowering and supporting parents/care givers and family members . 1. Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc Candidates must have professional qualification as per the Department of Health guidelines See job description for full criteria. Have a university degree or diploma (QQI Level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject, AND Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology OR An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health AND Must have 6 months experience of working as a Psychologist , or Trainee Psychologist under supervision, with children with disabilities (Intellectual Disability, Autism and/or Physical and Sensory disabilities) Driving Licence Must have a full driving license and means of transport which qualifies you to drive on Irish roads. 3. Role Purpose The purpose of this role within the relevant business unit and for HIQA as a whole: The ICT Vendor and Procurement Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of procurement activities for technology and Information Division requirements across HIQA. The role ensures that procurement processes are conducted in a compliant, efficient, and value-driven manner, in line with organisational policies and public procurement regulations. This position contributes to the effective acquisition of goods and services within approved budgets, while facilitating clear and structured engagement between internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure procurement outcomes are aligned with organisational needs and strategic objectives. Overview of the Role The key features of the role are: Clerical Officers in the Legal Aid Board carry out a range of duties which can vary with work assignment. Stand suspended during an employee’s absence from work, and ii. Be completed by the employee on the employees return from work after such absence. When the probation is suspended the employer should notify the employee of the circumstances relating to the suspension. All appointees will serve a one-year probationary period. If an appointee who fails to satisfy the conditions of probation has been a serving civil servant immediately prior to their appointment from this competition, the issue of reversion will normally arise. When will I work? This job is offered on a part-time basis, 5 hours a day, Monday through Friday! Typical hours of work are 08:00 to 13:00 with some flexibility required as start and finish times may be a little earlier or later. Will I have to work all year long? No! As schools close for the summer, we follow the academic calendar. As a result, you will work with us approx 183 days of the year and will have the rest off to enjoy some well-deserved rest!
