Logistics Internship

Your Tasks In essence, Logistics @ Lidl provides the right product, in the right place, and at the right time to our customers in the most cost efficient manner possible. Logistics has three overlapping areas of expertise which you will be heavily exposed to through the course of the internship; People, Process and Operations. Once completed, you will then get the opportunity to put to work what you have learnt as a Deputy Logistics Manager. Choosing the best place to gain practical and relevant experience during your internship is really important. After all, you want to be sure that wherever you go, you’ll be creating the very best start to your future career. That's why Internships in Lidl have been designed and developed to get you involved and give you more opportunities to show what you’re capable of. Every Internship has a bespoke structured training plan for the duration of the placement (24 weeks), support from your Line Manager and regular meetings with the Internship Programme Manager. You'll also be asked to complete a presentation at the end of your placement to demonstrate what you've learned and how you've developed. Your Profile Be highly organised and efficient Have a genuine interest in Logistics Be extremely flexible and possess good work ethic Enthusiastic about working and learning about various departments Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential German language skills would be beneficial but not essential We Offer Paid internship - €24,133 per annum on a pro rata basis Up to 2 days remote working per week Flexible start and finish times Initial training and ongoing development from an experienced team member Excellent opportunities for career progression Dynamic work environment New office facility with free parking On-site gym and canteen
