This is an exciting opportunity for TWO successful candidates to embark on a career in a rewarding industry and gain a recognised qualification. On successful completion of the 2-year apprenticeship you will achieve a Higher Certificate in Science (Laboratory Technician) Candidates will have the opportunity to progress to Level 8. Please note the apprenticeship will commence early September 2025 Are you looking to kick start a career in science working for a world leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry, and get an opportunity to progress your education while getting paid? SGS ISL is a centre of excellence for all aspects of pharmaceutical testing including method development & transfer, reference standard testing, stability management and QC Release & Stability testing. SGS ISLs’ main focus is to ensure the safety of the medicine, for the millions of patients who take the products we test. This is achieved through a strong quality focus and an excellent Health Authority audit history and reputation. SGS ISL has a dynamic team culture, committed to employee development. The successful candidate will combine practical, hands-on work experience while gaining a qualification. The apprentice will attend college 2 days per week and work in our state-of-the-art lab in Ringaskiddy 3 days per week during term time. You will be required to work 5 days on site during holiday period.
