Main Purpose of Post/Job Summary: To develop, co-ordinate and sustain regular volunteer-led walks in towns, villages and rural communities throughout the Council area, through the recruitment, training and support of Volunteer Walk Leaders to in turn increase the number of people walking and meet the objectives of the Walking for All programme (see note re background to Role), alking For All is a project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body, (SEUPB). Duration of Appointment: Fixed Term contract from January 2026 to 31 December 2028, subject to funding (this duration may vary if funding concludes earlier or may be extended) Hours of Work: ​​​​​​​36 hours Monday to Friday Hours of work are kept under review and may change in order to meet operational requirements, providing requisite notice.
