YOUTH HOUSING WORKER (NIGHTS) Are you passionate about helping young people and could you support them as they transition into adulthood and learn to live by themselves? MACS provides 24/7 supported housing for young people aged between 16 and 21, who are leaving care, or who may be homeless. Young people can live with us for up to 2 years before moving into the community. Youth Housing Workers provide an accessible point of contact at night and weekends to promote the protection and safeguarding of young people living at MACS and help them to build skills and confidence to maintain their own homes. Night Cleaner
We are recruiting for a night cleaner to join our hygiene team in Dawn Meats, Rathdowney. We are seeking both reliable and hard-working full-time Hygiene Operatives who are flexible in availability. The Hygiene Operative will be required to carry out washing duties of the meat processing areas on completion of each production day. This involves the use of power hoses and some manual cleaning activities. Trainee Communications Operators join the Defence Forces as General Service Recruits . This is followed by a further twelve weeks of 2-3 Star training , where you continue to build your military knowledge and experience. On successful completion of this training, you will progress to specialist Communications Operator training within the CIS Corps (Communications and Information Services) . Here you will learn how to operate and maintain military communications systems, providing secure and reliable voice, data, and radio communications that support Defence Forces units during training, daily operations, and overseas deployments. Whilst undergoing these three elements of training, in addition to full pay, you will also receive free meals and accommodation within the barracks. You will also have access to free medical care (dentist, pharmacy, physio etc.) and gym facilities. Communications Operators play a critical role in ensuring that commanders and units remain connected during operations. The role combines technical training, problem-solving, and teamwork , and offers opportunities to work with modern communications technology in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. System Protection Performance Specialist - Customer Connections
Position description The role of System Protection Performance Specialists- Customer Connections is to ensure that the protection on the network operates to the required distribution standard. Ensures that parameters are set in line with Conditions Governing standards and Protection policies. The role encompasses a range of technical power system studies, including but not limited to the connection of various generation, synchronous and non-synchronous, to the system. Knowledge of low carbon technologies and their impact on the power system is desirable. Assistance with the training and development of junior staff is part of this role. In addition, SPP-Customer Connections is responsible to investigate protection operations, system faults and advise operations & delivery on protection issues. The role will require becoming expert in the range of protection relays and software systems in use on the Distribution Network.
