Patient Advocate Liaison (Spinal Services, Grade VII) Purpose of the Role: The purpose of this post is to develop strategies to enable increased Patient Advocacy, Patient and Family partnership across the Hospital/Hospital Group and specifically in the CHI Spinal Unit. The post holder will play a vital role in building and strengthening relationships with patients, their families, Patient Advocacy Groups, Charities and staff through the delivery of a number of actions designed to enable patient partnership and improved outcomes for patients. Essential Criteria: • Expertise and evidence of partnering with patients and service users in the design, delivery and management of projects and programme within a health and social care context • Experience and evidence of co- designing, co-developing, implementing and delivering programmes in the area of partnering with patients and service users. • Experience of leading and managing projects in a healthcare and/or social care environment which partner with patients and service users • Experience and evidence of managing and working in partnership and collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts in including patient and service user representative groups • Experience of project management in a complex service delivery environment • Evidence of working in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders e.g. service users, government departments, senior managers, trade unions, NGO’s and Advocacy organisations • Experience in working with Patient Advocacy Groups, Charities, Patients and Families. It will amalgamate the tertiary and quaternary national services currently spread over two sites (Crumlin and Temple Street) onto a new and purpose built site. We currently have 2 Emergency departments (one on each site currently) which rank amongst the busiest in Europe. We have a PICU on each site providing a combined number of 32 PICU/HDU beds. Across site we provide all the specialist services you would expect to see at a world class paediatric hospital including cardiac surgery, ECMO, neurosurgery, maxillo-facial and renal transplant to name a few. We can provide higher level training in paediatric anaesthesia and fellowship standard experience. The salary scale linked to these positions is €63, 078 to €74, 280. Spina Bifida Database Register Manager, Grade V Purpose of the Role: The main purpose of this role is to input, retrieve, validate and collate accurate data on the Spina Bifida register. Provide information from the database for bi-weekly reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), DoH, HSE meetings and other adhoc reports. The post holder will work cross discipline with the Coordinator, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Health and Social Care Professionals and administrative teams to ensure the seamless integration of information and communication technology in Spina Bifida care.
