Purpose of the role The purpose of the Finance Transformation & Service Improvement Manager will play a key role in supporting the delivery, development and continuous improvement of transactional finance services across the organisation. Reporting to the Finance Lead (Transactions) & Heads of Financial Accounting & Transactions, the post holder will lead and coordinate finance transformation initiatives, including the ongoing optimisation and enhancement of the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS), support the transition of transactional finance functions to the New Children’s Hospital, and drive process improvement across all transactional finance activities. The post holder will work collaboratively with finance teams, operational departments and key stakeholders to improve efficiency, strengthen financial controls, standardise processes and enhance service delivery. The role will support the achievement of CHI’s objectives through the effective implementation of change programmes and the continuous review of transactional practices. The Finance & Service Improvement Lead will play a key role in leading CHI Change Network under the support, guidance and direction of the HSE Programme Management Team and have responsibility for the delivery of CHI System change and implementation plan will provide support to the Finance Transactions team and other finance areas.
