Dental Nurse
We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Nurse to be part of our family run group of Practices and to join our team in Newtownards on a full time basis. The successful applicant will work 17 hours per week from 8:00am-6:00pm on Tuesdays and 8:00am-5:00pm on Wednesdays Duties will include assisting the dentist, sterilising dental equipment, keeping the surgery clean and occasional reception duties. Location : Randox Health, John Lewis - 123 High St, Cheltenham GL50 1DQ. Contract Offered : Full-time, Permanent Working Hours / Shifts : 40 hours per week, across 5 days – 9am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday and 11am to 5pm on a Sunday. For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship at the point of hire. What does the Phlebotomist role involve? This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS). • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent. • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation. • Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments. • Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic. • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets. • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately. • Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks. Essential criteria: • Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training. • Confident using IT programmes. • Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business inclusive of evenings and weekends. • Flexibility to work from offsite locations at least once per month. • Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship Desirable: • Experience in a private healthcare setting. • Exeperience in customer service. • 2 years experience in Phlebotomy. • Sales / Retail experience. • Valid UK driving licence
Referral Co-ordinator
REFERRAL COORDINATOR MACS Floating Support and Outreach services provide a range of interventions to assist young people aged 16 - 25 to access/maintain accommodation in the community. The team of workers provide support to young people who are homeless, young people 'sofa surfing', at risk of eviction, and resettling from prison. The Referral Coordinator will support our referral process from pre-entry to post-exit. They will be responsible for processing referrals in a professional, sensitive, and timely manner in line with MACS procedures and processes underpinned by MACS policies and operating in line with our strategic priorities, vision, mission, and values. Summary of Job: The Information Services unit at the Special EU Programmes Body supports the vision and strategic priorities of the body by providing both Information Technology and Information Management service to support our staff, customers, contractors, and our wider stakeholders. The IT and IM resources provide a wide array of technological and information management and security compliance services; these services are key to supporting the successful delivery of EU funded projects the PEACEPLUS Programme. The Head of Information Services is a senior role that reports to the Director of Corporate Services. This role has a strategic responsibility for both Information Technology and Information Management functions. This role will have responsibility to ensure SEUPB maximises the use of Information Technology and aligns technology with the requirements of recently developed strategies. The role also has the added responsibility of ensuring the Information Management unit supports SEUPB for compliance with UK/EU GDPR regulations, Records Management processes and procedures and compliance with information security standards such as ISO27001. Main Purpose: Information Services holds a critical responsibility within SEUPB. This function strengthens collaboration between the Information Management and Information Technology teams, creating a unified and more collaborative service for all aspects of information management supported by technology. By promoting joined-up thinking and eliminating duplication, the unit will build on the recent change vision and play a key role in identifying efficiencies and driving continuous improvement.
