A casual vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:- Holiday Scheme Casual Scale 3 and in the range SCP 7-8 (Currently £25,584 to £25,992) pro rata. Location: The location of this post will be confirmed following appointment process but it will be based in Mid and East Antrim Borough Council Leisure Centres in either Ballymena, Carrickfergus or Larne. Main Purpose of Job: Support the Programme Coordinators to ensure the delivery of a fun, educational and stimulating programme of activities as part of a Mid and East Antrim Borough Council Holiday/Programme Schemes. Work in partnership with the professional coaches and trainers to deliver a programme of events. A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:- Building Control Officer 37 hours per week Scale PO1, SCP 29-32 Currently £38,626 to £51,511 Location: Carrickfergus MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB Work as part of the Building Control Team to fulfil the Council’s statutory duties regarding the administration and enforcement of Building Regulations and allied legislation and to provide an efficient, effective, economic and equitable service. Assist in the delivery of corporate fire risk assessments and disability audits as directed. Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in an effective and timely manner to meet organisational objectives. A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:- Health & Safety Advisor 37 hours per week Scale SO2, SCP 28-30 Currently £37,938 - £39,513 Location: The location of this post will be confirmed upon appointment and flexibility to be based across the Borough will be required. Main Purpose of Job: To assist the Health & Safety Manager with the delivery of the Corporate Health and Safety function for Mid and East Antrim Borough Council in compliance with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Order (NI) 1978 and relevant statutory provisions. Responsible, to the Health and Safety Manager, for providing day-to-day advice and guidance to line management and employees in respect of compliance with health and safety legislation, policy and procedures and safe working practices. Assist in the community development of the Parks & Open Spaces Service through initiatives that engage the community within the Borough. Clinical Nurse Specialist Dermatology
Purpose of the Role: Deliver care in line with the five core concepts of the role set out in the Framework for the Establishment of Clinical Nurse Specialist Posts, 4th edition, National Council for the Professional Development of Nursing and Midwifery (NCNM) 2008 Caseload e.g. Children - under 16 years of age. The CNS will focus initially on the following patient groups: • Be responsible for a clinical caseload in the Dermatology Department and throughout the hospital • Provide a service which optimises quality and continuity of care for children attending the Dermatology Service • Co-ordinate a service that provides continuity of care for Children within the Dermatology service. • Establish and maintain good working relationships with nursing colleagues, Consultants and medical staff involved in the provision of quality care to children. Essential Criteria: Be a registered nurse on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by An Bord Altranais and Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be eligible to be so registered AND Be registered in the division(s) of the Childrens Nursing with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann OR In exceptional circumstances, which will be assessed on a case-by-case basis be registered in another Division of the register of Nurses and Midwives.
