HGV Driver
Purpose: This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and work as part of a business that is prepared to invest in your future. We currently have an opportunity for an HGV Driver to join our Operations team. As part of our transport team you will be responsible for all external deliveries and internal driving operations including heavy plant operations and internal transfers, incorporating additional duties as required. Key Responsibilities: · Responsible for your own Health and Safety and that of your colleagues. · Drive company lorry to transport and deliver materials in line with customer and operational demands, and according to operational procedures. · Operate and load pressurised vessel for delivery of bulk powders. · When required, the operation of heavy plant machinery such as shovel, articulated and rigid dumper to aid in internal deliveries. · Ensure appropriate paperwork is completed and returned to the Logistics department in an efficient and timely manner. · Clean and inspect the vehicle, complete pre-driving checks and ensure any defects and accidents are reported immediately. · Effective material waste management through compliance with the company environmental system. · Ensure driving licence and training certification is up to date and is appropriate for the vehicle provided. · Assist with improvements in efficiencies and customer service levels. · Provide an excellent level of service and support to the customer at all stages of the customer experience. · Carry out internal driving and general yard duties as required by your manager/supervisor. · Undertake any other duties considered by the company to be within the competence of an HGV Driver. · Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues to ensure a ‘one team approach’ to deliver the company’s performance standards and the business objectives. ROLE To ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Pharmacy to maximise dispensing and services, private services, OTC sales and profitablity; To ensure that all staff working within the Pharmacy comply with statutory and/or professional obligations.
