Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon With S I In Spinal Surgery
Purpose of role: The new post holder will support the development of a world class Department of Paediatric orthopaedic spinal surgery within CHI, and along with his/her colleagues, support the paediatric orthopaedic consultant body in the assessment and management of complex patients. The post holder will provide clinical support, advice and consultation on orthopaedic pathologies as required. The new post holder will work closely with other colleagues and multi-disciplinary teams in the clinical and administrative staff in the unit to develop referral pathways, service coordination, and the planning and delivery of an efficient and effective service. The post holder will be expected to participate in peer reviews, guideline development, development of policy and procedure, data collection, governance of service, staff recruitment, staff training and development of the service. Role & Responsibilities: Pieta is seeking to recruit a Payroll Assistant reporting to the Finance Manager (Operations). This is a key position in the finance team of Pieta and will collaborate closely with all the finance team members, Pieta managers and external stakeholders. Duties will include, but not limited to, the preparation, analysis and processing of the monthly payroll and pensions for all Pieta employees, ensuring full statutory and internal compliance relating to all payroll and pension matters, primary point of contact of all payroll and pension queries, primary point of contact of all payroll and pension audit queries and to assist accounts payable and operations team with various administrative and payment related matters. This role will provide significant input and support across the department and to the Finance Manager (Operations). Being able to work on own initiative, be self-directed and organised are requirements of the role while being a strong team player. Regional Procurement Lead
Purpose of Role The Agency requires the appointment of a Grade VII Regional Procurement Officer within each of its six Regions. The postholder will manage and lead complex procurement activities, ensuring strict compliance with national and EU public procurement law, while also achieving value for money, transparency, and supporting wider Agency objectives. The appointee shall commence on the first point of the salary scale. Incremental credit may be given on appointment for certain types of relevant experience. Entry will be at the minimum point of the scale. Different terms and conditions may apply if the appointee is currently a serving civil or public servant. Working Week The standard working week applying to the whole-time equivalent of this post is 35 hours. Annual Leave The annual leave associated with the whole-time equivalent of this post is 30 days per annum. Superannuation This is a pensionable position with Tusla. The successful candidate will become a member of the appropriate pension scheme, as notified within the contract of employment. Probation A probation period of 39 weeks, or proportion thereof for fixed-term/specified purpose contracts, shall apply from the commencement of employment. The contract may be terminated by either party during this period. The probationary period may be extended at management discretion by a further 9 weeks. Confirmation of appointment as a permanent member of staff is subject to successful completion of probation. If a candidate has already completed probation with Tusla, the HSE, or a Local Authority with no break in service, no probation period applies.
