Job description: 1. Process all ingredients through the Debag & Sieving Procedure (as part of Critical Control Point 1) under the HACCP procedures, incorporating it into the Stevens System. 2. The Debag Room is to be kept to a high standard of housekeeping at all times. It is the responsibility of the Materials Handler to maintain the room throughout the shift. This is extremely important given the nature of the work carried out in this area. 3. The Materials Handler will ensure the provision of stock for the bakery is in place before the next Bakery Shift starts. This stock list can be obtained from the Stevens System. 4. Waste disposal of packaging and foods from Debag in Goods In. 5. To ensure safe working practices are adopted at all times in accordance with Safety, Health and Environmental policies, procedures and legislation. 6. To correctly co-ordinate the transfer within the manufacturing process all materials, and to ensure traceability procedures are followed at all times, 100% compliance with the Stevens System. 7. To communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes. 8. To ensure 100% completion of daily rituals. 9. To encourage colleagues to participate and drive continuous improvement in their area. 10. Any other duties within the post holder’s competence as requested by the Manager. We transcribe school books into a variety of accessible formats including braille, large print, digital and 3D. We currently have a vacancy for an administrator, this role will ensure the efficient running of administrative tasks within the department. This is an exciting opportunity to work in within a team that provides accessible formats to visually impaired students across the country. Reading Services also supports a Children's and Resource Library service and Assistive Technology use with our students. The successful candidate will also be required to fulfil some transcription work when time allows. This role will also provide reception cover for the main ChildVision campus. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service and create a positive first impression. They will greet and assist visitors, parents and students, answer phone calls, handle inquiries alongside administrative duties. We transcribe school books into a variety of accessible formats including braille, large print, digital and 3D. We currently have vacancies for Text Editors within our Reading Services team producing educational materials for both primary and secondary level students. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated person who enjoys working as part of a team and supporting inclusive and accessible education. Full training in how to transcribe these formats will be provided to all new team members and a prior knowledge of braille, while advantageous, is not a requirement. ChildVision runs a Learn Braille course for learning to read and write braille by sight and all successful candidates will be enrolled and supported in this course. (potential for hybrid working after completion of training) Reading Services also supports a Children's and Resource Library service and Assistive Technology use with our students. Purpose of the Post and key working relationships The post has a pivotal role in providing clinical and professional leadership and promoting the values of the organisation. The Director of Nursing role is to be responsible for the management and clinical governance of all nursing and health care support staff within Social Inclusion, including the Homeless team, Migrant Health team who support Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTP) and International Protection Applicants (IPA), Traveller, Roma and the lead role in the delivery of all clinical services within the National Transit Centre. The National Transit Centre (NTC) was established for those arriving into Ireland as a result of being displaced by the war in Ukraine. Currently, almost 100% of BOTP’s arriving in Ireland transit through the NTC based at CityWest. The role of the health response in the National Transit Centre is to create a Health Service pathway to address immediate health and treatment needs of all those arriving into Ireland. The NTC also supports IPA families who arrive in Ireland and provides accommodation for IPA’s who have self-declared health needs. The Director of Nursing will work with the Mobile Vaccination Team to facilitate better access and uptake of all vaccinations available to vulnerable Social inclusion clientele detailed above. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for providing strong strategic, professional and clinical leadership for all aspects of Nursing and Health Care support staff within the context of working within a multidisciplinary team and in supporting the implementation of the changing service delivery structures into HSE Health Regions as these evolve. The Director of Nursing will be required to develop key working relationships with colleagues in Social Inclusion, other HSE Community Services, Tusla, Acute services and both governmental and non-governmental agencies. The role should focus on improving patient experience, quality of care and patient outcomes in the context of developing a culture of performance improvement within the allocated resources. It requires a strategic approach to the development of general and specific services and structures, embracing continuous quality improvement and the management of change to achieve organisational objectives and compliance with HIQA Standards. The Director of Nursing is accountable for the development of staffing structures, staffing skill-mix and for the clinical and operational competence of all staff under their authority.

Key duties: • Calibration and maintenance of equipment • The operation and troubleshooting of automated production lines involved in the assembly of instrument specific Biochip Array products. • The accurate completion of manufacturing and stock records. • Completion and recording of manufacturing outputs for KPIs • The cleaning down of machines and the work area in accordance with standard operating procedures. • Monitoring of the cleanroom environment to process defined specifications • Assisting in the training of staff in departmental procedures and systems. • The alerting of the Biochip formulation Team Leader and Manager to any problems in the manufacture or testing of Biochip products and highlighting any non-conformances • Accurate identification and removal of rejected biochips during assembly process • High quality sealing and accurate labelling of Biochip Array products Who can apply?
