There are a range of sites including bungalows and apartments across West Belfast. The support provided ranges from 1hr to 24 hrs per day. Support and guidance includes all daily living tasks, personal care and support, leisure, social skills and household management. The Role The Team Leader will be a part of the management team and will support the Registered Manager to meet the Domiciliary Care Agencies Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 and the DHSS&PS Domiciliary Care Agency Minimum Standards. They will: Ensure that NIHE "Supporting People" contractual requirements and standards are met and maintained. Support the Registered Manager to develop and implement personalised care/support plans and individual risk assessments to meet individual needs. The Role: This post will be located within Galway city and county providing physiotherapy services people supported who access Adult services within the Brothers of Charity. Qualifications: Candidates must have at the latest date of application: (i) Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU. Qualifications/Experience: • A nursing qualification, RNID/RNMH is an advantage and must be currently registered with the NMBI or a relevant third level qualification in the Health/Social Care Sector. Proficient in ICT skills with a good working knowledge of IT systems. Working Hours: 75 hours a fortnight. Contracted hours of work are liable to change between the hours of 8am – 8pm over seven days to meet the requirements of the programme. The roster varies in order to meet the needs of the service and accordingly you are required to be flexible in regard to your working hours. Participation in on call roster is an essential part of this post. There is an expectation that a Manager at this level will interface with external agencies and attend meetings outside of normal working hours, positively promoting the work of the Brothers of Charity Services Ireland.
