Role: Behaviour Therapist - Locum Location: Monasterevin, Co. Kildare Tenure: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) - 78 hours per fortnight The successful candidate will become a key member of an evolving psychological services team led by the Principal Psychology Manager. The post will involve close collaborative working with the Senior Psychologist. The post holder will contribute to developing interdisciplinary supports for people in receipt of services from the clinical supports team in Kildare. The post holder will provide psychological supports to a broad range of individuals with intellectual disabilities, Autism and mental health concerns. The office base is Monasterevin. The person appointed will work as part of the psychology team, and in close collaboration with other clinicians, in providing assessment, formulation and multi-component behaviour supports to adults with intellectual disabilities and Autistic adults with high support needs. Although the post is for normal office hours, the successful candidate will be committed to a high degree of flexibility. The Muiriosa Foundation promotes a human rights-based approach. Behaviour Therapists develop evidence-informed, and values led, interventions collaboratively with the person supported under the supervision of Senior Psychologists. Behaviour therapists base interventions on a comprehensive assessment of each person’s strengths, needs and within the context of their environment.
