Accounts Assistant
Part of ABP Food Group, C&D Foods & Affiliates is one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of pet food, offering specially formulated cat and dog food of superior quality and value. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Assistant will be involved in the daytoday processing of invoices, reconciliations and other adhoc duties within the Finance Department. Key Responsibilities: · Efficiently processing invoices, ensuring accuracy and integrity of postings in line with company policies and procedures · Ensuring correct invoice/GRN/PO matching and investigating and resolving any variances · Dealing with supplier queries in a timely manner · Preparing supplier reconciliations and other general accounts payable transactions and duties within the Finance Dept · Maintaining the accounts payable inbox and keeping records and filing up to date · Manage the processing of weekly and monthly supplier payment runs · Assisting with the review, improvement and streamlining of processes across the department · Ensuring all month end tasks are complete before closing. · Processing of sales invoices and allocations to Debtors ledger · Assist with the yearend and internal audit · Cover other adhoc departmental duties as required Keys Skills: · Experience in processing transactions on ERP or Accounting systems required. · Experience in a similar role beneficial. · Strong time management and administration skills · Positive energy and attitude. · Be efficient with a keen eye for detail. · Ability to work in a team environment · Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with all levels of the organisation. INDOOR ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT MANAGER | Circa €33,700 per annum To support the Indoor Activities Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Sports and Leisure Facilities and Pottery Studio including, but not exclusively: Court and table hire, equipment hire, Gym, Pottery Studio, Leisure Booking Desk, House of Games, Leisure Bowl. Assist in maintaining a high standard of guest care and set high standards in building management and leisure facilities and equipment as well as motivate and develop team members associated with these areas. You will support with facilitating and developing a culture that promotes and encourages the general wellbeing, motivation, and morale of your team, whilst ensuring effective performance management strategies are in place and your team are actively contributing towards this. HOURS OF WORK You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Your shifts will fall between 8am and 9pm. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.
