C&D Foods’ Head Office is in Mullingar, County Westmeath. C&D Foods have an exciting opportunity for a  Yard Operative  to join our team. This role will be based in  Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford . Key Responsibilities: • Power Washing of Dolavs (Approx.150 per shift). • Empty CAT 3 Waste Dolavs to approved trailers. • Load CAT 3 Dolavs for dispatch as required. • Unloading CAT 3 deliveries to site as required. • Collect Waste Dolavs from Collection Points. • Sort and load damaged pallets for disposal as required. • Cleaning duties at the WWTP. • Be prepared to cross train on WWTP workings, observations and sample collections. • General factory external cleaning duties. • Emptying of Wheelie Bins. • In additional to all of the above be flexible and willing to carry out other non-specified duties when requested by the Environmental Officer. Competencies: • Flexibility to move across all shift patterns to cover Annual Leave, Absence etc is a fundamental of this role. • A conscious individual who leads by example and enjoys working in a safe and accurate environment with a flexible approach to work. • Ability to work to instructions while also using own initiative. • Highly organised individual.  • Good attention to detail. • Proactive and Reliable.
