Transport Admin
What your day will look like You will be responsible for prompt query resolution for all customers - Phone / Email You will be responsible for your own e-mail inbox and group inbox also You will communicate any issues to various internal departments e.g., transport, warehouse, customer services colleagues You will update internal system with details of delivery discrepancies / delivery issues communicated by carriers / drivers You will carry out Customer Billing using correct customer discrepancy codes as per customer SLA’s working to billing deadlines You will complete Customer Book In’s, updating internal systems and advising transport / carrier of details You will create and arrange uplifts and ensure they are completed to customer satisfaction You will ensure all POD’s are returned as per customer SLA – working closely with carriers to ensure same You will be responsible for Month End & Period End Close offs as per customer timelines You will generate POD reports – work with team to ensure that all POD’s are noted and scanned What skills do you need for this role? You must be eligible to legally work and reside in Ireland You will need to be experienced in, or have a good understanding of the Transport industry You should have the ability to work well under pressure and be able to work at a consistent pace. You should be able to plan and organise your day and work off your own initiative. Strong administrative skills We need you to be IT literate across the entire MS suite particularly strong in Excel as this is used continuously in this role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy of data input Be very organised in your approach and you will be an analytical thinker. Strong Communication Skills both verbal and written Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to deadlines Team Player Flexible and proactively uses own initiative Completer/Finisher – follow through tasks, queries etc. to completion. Ensure all equipment malfunctions are investigated, reported and repaired accordingly. · Perform analytical testing appropriate to a multi-disciplinary laboratory. · Perform all activities related to the receipt, analysis and reporting of laboratory specimens. · Be responsible for managing consumables and reagent stocks supplies associated with assigned areas of the laboratory. · Ensure that procedures are carried out in compliance with national and international guidelines and actively participate in internal and external quality control and quality assurance. · Actively participate in Quality Management programs which are patient centred and which measure audit performance and client satisfaction. · Co-operate with other laboratory departments to ensure a holistic laboratory service is provided for all patients. · Be able to work to tight deadlines and re-prioritise work proactively as required. · Report all anomalies, near misses, non-conformances, incorrect results immediately to appropriate senior staff. · Identify and resolve system failures and anomalies. · Observe strict confidentiality when dealing with all aspects of patient or hospital information. · Be familiar with and implement the Major Emergency Plan. · In co-operation with the Consultant Heads of Department, Laboratory Manager, Chief Medical Scientist, and other designated senior staff, participate in the introduction of new ideas and methods according to HSE policy.
