Main Duties and Responsibilities: This engineering programme will give you opportunity to work with advanced food processing machinery with all the demands of a fast paced environment. You will work alongside highly skilled engineers striving to attain engineering excellence whilst eliminating waste and reducing costs. You will build on your current knowledge gained in your engineering degree and / or apprenticeship to continuously improve processes to exceed customer expectations. He/she will ensure that these services are of a high quality, meeting the standards required by Brothers of Charity Services Ireland and any national bodies legislated to monitor such standards. The post holder will be required to act as a Person in Charge (PIC) for assigned designated centres and Person Participating in the Management of a Centre (PPIM) for other centres within the Service Area and to ensure that the Designated Centre is in full compliance with HIQA regulations as specified in SI 366 and 367 of the Health Act 2007.
