Main Duties of the Post • A range of cleaning activities throughout the site including the reception area, toilets (male and female), museum galleries and part of the external courtyard. • Polish fixtures, fittings and furniture. • Cleaning of mirrors and internal windows. • Clean, wash and sweep all areas with initiative and as directed • Collect and dispose of all litter from receptacles inside and outside the building. • Clean, wash and sweep all areas as directed, including shop area, exhibition area, reception, offices etc • Vacuum and polish designated areas using the appropriate equipment and materials. • Empty vacuum bags and clean filters. • Deep clean and polish stairwells. • Assist, when required, with arrangements for events and functions e.g. setting up equipment, arranging rooms for functions, etc • Any other duties relevant to the post which may be allocated.
