WESTMEATH RESIDENTIAL SERVICES SOCIAL CARE WORKERS/SUPPORT WORKERS RELIEF CONTRACTS We are seeking to recruit motivated, creative and energetic support workers to join our Residential Services team. The focus of the role will be to lead initiatives in supporting the individuals to live a life of their choosing and what matters most to them. The role will support the individuals to become connected and valued within their local community, to provide opportunities for new experiences and to assist each person in developing real and authentic relationships. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in supporting individuals to develop valued social roles and also have experience in supporting individuals with communication needs and those who may display behaviours of concern and will have experience of person centred planning and knowledge of person directed and individualised support approaches. Requirements: Please note that the successful candidates will be required to be available for any of day, weekend, waking night duty and ‘sleep-over / over-night’ shifts. In addition, we require staff members to be willing to work alone in the residents’ homes and across a variety of locations if required. Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Apprentice

This is a great opportunity for a school leaver who wishes to pursue a career in a fast moving industry. Full Solas Training along with Mercedes-Benz Training. What does a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic do? As a heavy vehicle mechanic, you will carry out routine servicing and repair on commercial vehicles such as trucks, vans, trailers, jeeps, buses and coaches. Your work will involve servicing, diagnostics and repairs. As well as routine servicing, major overhauls are undertaken at regular intervals. Faults are diagnosed and you will repair or replace the defective components as necessary. You will manage the mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic aspects of the vehicle.

Keeping over 220 Lidl stores across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland fully stocked is no small task. That’s the job of our regional distribution centres, matching supply and demand 24/7. With goods of all kinds flowing in and out, including fresh and frozen produce as well as non-food, it’s essential that they are received, stored and delivered on time and in excellent condition. Our regional distribution centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we require staff to cover both day and night shifts. Your shift pattern will be 5 days out of 7 (including weekends and bank holidays). Working in either the Goods In, Selections or Transport team, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager you will be responsible for the management of employees in this area of the distribution centre.
