SUPPORT WORKERS WESTMEATH DAY SERVICES PERMANENT PART TIME CONTRACTS We are recruiting for the position of Support Workers to work as part of a dynamic team supporting in our Day Services in Westmeath. The successful candidates will be provided with the opportunity to support individuals with independent living skills, community inclusion and the promotion of their personal health and wellbeing. We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Support Workers to support, encourage and motivate individuals to lead a fulfilling life. Requirements: · FETAC/QQI level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support/Health Service Skills; · Experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism; · Experience of supporting individuals with a broad range of support needs including behaviours of concern; · Full current driving licence; · Excellent communication skills- written and verbal. · Experience in and commitment to supporting individuals to connect with their local community; · Excellent interpersonal, organisational, logistical and IT skills; · Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role.
