MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB Contribute to the development of the Environmental Health Service strategy and be responsible for the communication of it both internally and externally in conjunction with the Environmental Health Manager and Principal Environmental Health Officer colleagues to ensure the development of the service. Organise and supervise the work of a distinct function within the Environmental Health service in order to meet customer needs and implement Council policies. Manage the performance of staff by setting objectives which will achieve the necessary results and support the continuous improvement of the service. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB Provide a wide-ranging and professional, private and confidential secretarial service to the Head of Service with regard to all aspects of the service area. In addition, ensure that the day-to-day administrative activities are completed on time and to a high standard of accuracy and quality. Provide an efficient and effective administration service to the Planning and Building Control Department. Provide a comprehensive and confidential administration service to the Head of Service, which requires regular interaction with Elected Members, government agencies and other stakeholders and supporting the staff within the department. Manage the administrative team including task allocation and prioritisation of work across various sites. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB Assist the Investment & Place Manager and Head of Service with the delivery of the Integrated Economic Development Strategy for Mid & East Antrim and programmes and actions which will contribute to the delivery of Council’s strategic priority of Growing the Economy. Oversee and project manage the development and implementation phase of the i4C Innovation and CleanTech Centre (“i4C”) in conjunction with the Operator appointed to manage the facility. Work collaboratively with the Operator to ensure the project delivers its objectives and outcomes, securing long-term sustainability. Provide support to the Investment and Place Manager and Head of Services in driving the growth and success of the i4C Innovation & CleanTech Centre. This role will focus on building strategic partnerships, attracting SMEs and investors, supporting businesses in key sectors including manufacturing and clean technology, and maximising the economic and community impact of the i4C City Deal project. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB This role sits within the newly created Corporate & Support Services Directorate, and you will be working in one of the three functional areas. (Citizen focus, Business support or Finance) You will be responsible for collaborating with our delivery teams and stakeholders to support delivery of the Council’s corporate functions and processes and supporting adherence to our policy and legislative duties. You will be responsible for ensuring organisation wide compliance across a range of functions related to Councils statutory functions as appropriate. Your role will include reviewing and improving systems, processes and procedures, ensuring processes are followed and deadlines are met. It will include processing information and data, report writing, drafting correspondence for managers, resolving issues and managing relationships.
