Additional hours may be required from time to time. Working as part of a team duties can include; sales of over the counter medicines, providing customers with information on symptoms and products, prescription receipt and collection, date checking, and the ordering, receiving and storing of pharmaceutical stock. The post holder will ensure that all orders are placed within an acceptable time, expedite orders to ensure on time delivery and will be expected to communicate any supply issues to Procurement Specialists and the procurement Supervisor. JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: The post holder will: 1. Ensure that all Purchase Orders including Customer specific, Expense (Stationary, Sundry, and PPE), Depot and Almac inventory are placed in a timely manner 2. Expedite Order confirmations and agree delivery dates with suppliers 3. Ensure the purchase order system is maintained and kept up to date at all times 4.
