Summary of Position The purpose of this post is to provide high-level administrative support to Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board. The successful candidate(s) will support the delivery of quality services, as per the organisation’s remit, working with colleagues across WWETB and the broader community, including Schools and Further Education and Training Centres. WWETB constantly strives to improve the quality and effectiveness of its services and systems, across a number of functions, including in its Schools, Further Education and Training Centres, Finance, Human Resources and Corporate Services. The work of WWETB will be supported through a number of duties and responsibilities, as outlined below. The post is responsible for the management and oversight of FET buildings and facilities management and related contract across Waterford and Wexford. To include management of building works, repairs and upgrade projects, management of leases and contracts relating to the general repair, maintenance and upkeep of facilities. The role includes responsibility for delivery on energy and carbon reduction targets on our facilities in line with national targets for 2030 and 2050. Essential Requirements for Grade VII post holders · Have the requisite knowledge, skills and competencies to carry out the role. Location of Post: HSE Integrated Healthcare Area Mental Health Service. There is currently one permanent whole-time vacancy available in the Cavan Monaghan service. The location of this post will be in the Cavan Monaghan Mental Health Services (CMMHS) (Location TBC). There are 20 Integrated Healthcare Areas in total. They serve a population of between 150,000 and 450,000 and will take account of local geographies, population size, needs and services. Integrated Healthcare Areas bring together both acute and community services as well as other non-HSE providers. This will be crucial to supporting and enabling integrated health and social care. Psychology Services provide a range of assessment, consultation and therapy services across the lifespan. Each psychologist works exclusively within child, adult or disability services as a member of a dedicated team e.g., Adult Mental Health Team (AMHT), Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). The services have close links with the Clinical Psychology Doctoral programmes. Many staff also provide lectures as part of the academic modules of the doctoral programme. The services also provide a variety of clinical training placements to trainees from various accredited programmes. Supervision (individual & group) and continuous professional development arrangements are in place for all staff. Reporting Relationship: The successful candidate will report to the Principal Psychologist Manager with accountability for day to day operational matters. Purpose of the Post: Deliver, develop and manage the delivery of a psychology service within Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Cavan Monaghan HSE in line with service plans and objectives and within established professional standards, guidelines and policy. The Senior Psychologist is a core member of the CAMHS multi-disciplinary team delivering psychological consultation, assessment and therapeutic interventions to children and young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties. The Senior Psychologist will work collaboratively with the other Senior Psychologists working in CAMHS in Cavan Monaghan. Have been employed before 25th October 2002 and be currently in employment as a psychologist in the public health system; the HSE and agencies funded under Section 38 and Section 39 of the Health Act 2004 And ii. Demonstrate competence in the Care Group/s applied for And iii. Possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability and ability, for the proper discharge of the office And iv. Applicants must have at least five years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology, no more than three years of which was spent in gaining the post-graduate professional qualification and no less than two years full-time spent in post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist. Years in excess of the permitted three years for completion of the post-graduate training or time not worked will not be taken into consideration when assessing the five years’ experience requirement. Category B (Employed between October 2002 and 31st January 2021) 1. Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc. Eligible applicants must: i. Be currently employed in a named publically funded psychological service, Note 1. And ii. Have a university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject And iii. Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology Or An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health. And iv. Demonstrate competence in the Care Group/s applied for. And v. Applicants must have at least five years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology, no more than three years of which was spent in gaining the post-graduate professional qualification and no less than two years full-time spent in post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist. Years in excess of the permitted three years for completion of the post-graduate training or time not worked will not be taken into consideration when assessing the five years’ experience requirement. And iii. Demonstrate competence in the Care Group/s applied for. And iv. Retained Firefighters
THE ROLE We are currently now inviting applications from candidates who are passionate in supporting and serving their local communities, for the position of Retained Firefighter. Panels will be created for positions in our Fire Brigade units in Ballyjamesduff, Killeshandra and Kingscourt. In most circumstances a Retained Firefighter has another job / career and provides on call cover for a minimum of 24 weeks in the year for the Fire Service either from home, or in some circumstances, from their place of work. In the event of a fire call, the Retained Firefighter will be notified, typically by pager, and he / she must respond to the Fire Station immediately. The Fire Service responds to all emergency calls from the public for assistance, primarily to protect life and save injury to individuals, but also to prevent and restrict damage to property. Many emergency calls, however, are not to fires, but to incidents where members of the community are trapped in vehicles, machinery or in other less life-threatening circumstances. The firefighter’s working life and training is geared to responding safely and effectively to emergency calls, regardless of weather conditions or the time of day or night. Fully qualified firefighters are skilled technicians capable of using the most modern equipment, methods and techniques to undertake the full range of duties which can be deployed at any emergency incident. It is essential before applying for this position that you are aware of the on-going training demands and the personal commitment that must be given to fulfil the role of a Retained Firefighter. This includes being able to drop personal responsibilities at immediate notice to respond to a fire call, which may last anytime from 30 minutes, 10 hours, or longer. In order to function effectively in emergencies, Firefighters must demonstrate the following characteristics: • Courage and physical strength • A capacity for rapid, intense and sustained effort • A capacity to use their own initiative when alone • Complete and automatic familiarity with the equipment and tools of the profession (which may range up to major items of plant such as Fire Fighting appliance vehicles) • A practical understanding of the basis of a wide range of subjects necessary to anticipate and overcome hazards • Empathy with victims of emergency situations • An ability to carry out their function in what may occasionally be emotionally difficult and harrowing circumstances The role of a Firefighter is very challenging and rewarding and individuals are required to display determination, physical stamina and discipline in challenging situations. HEALTH: Candidates shall be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service. Candidates who are successful will be required to undertake and successfully pass a medical examination before recruitment and in accordance with The Medical Standards for Recruitment to the Retained Fire Service; Local Government Management Services Board (2005). 3. RESIDENCE: Candidates, on appointment and during their employment thereafter, must live and work within either 3 km or a maximum of 6 minutes travel time (based on GPS navigation planner e.g. Google maps or similar as determined by Cavan County Council) of the Fire Station. The distances are measured from the place of employment and from their primary residence (home) to the Fire Station. On receipt of a fire or other emergency call personnel should be in attendance at the station within seven minutes. 4. EDUCATION, TRAINING, SKILLS ETC: Candidates must have attained a suitable level of education to enable him/her to undergo successfully the appropriate training and to perform his/her duties satisfactorily as a Firefighter. Candidates must hold a valid Category B Licence on the latest date for receipt of the application form. It is desirable but not essential to hold a valid Category C Licence 5. CITIZENSHIP Candidates must, by the date of any job offer, be: a) A citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA). The EEA consists of the Member States of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway; or b) A citizen of the United Kingdom (UK); or c) A citizen of Switzerland pursuant to the agreement between the EU and Switzerland on the free movement of persons; or d) A non-EEA citizen who is a spouse or child of an EEA or UK or Swiss citizen and has a stamp 4 visa; or e) A person awarded international protection under the International Protection Act 2015 or any family member entitled to remain in the State as a result of family reunification and has a stamp 4 visa; or f) A non-EEA citizen who is a parent of a dependent child who is a citizen of, and resident in, an EEA member state or the UK or Switzerland and has a stamp 4 visa. PARTICULARS 1. EMPLOYMENT: The employment is part-time and pensionable. A panel will be formed from qualified candidates from which appointments may be made. 2. REMUNERATION: A Firefighter shall be paid at the appropriate approved national rates of Fire, Drill Fees and Retainer Fees and in accordance with any national agreements for Retained Firefighters. Payment of fees is made fortnightly via electronic transfer into the Retained Firefighters account. The current rates, as per Circular EL 03-2025, are outlined below. DUTIES: A Retained Firefighter; • Shall be required to attend at fires and other emergencies, drills, displays and other duties at such times and for such periods as required by the County Council. Failure to respond promptly to fire or other emergency calls will be addressed through the Local Authority’s disciplinary procedure. • Who attends for Fire Brigade service must be prepared to accept the work entailed and to fulfil to the best of their ability their duty as a Firefighter in the saving of life, saving of property and the fighting of fires or other such emergencies. • Must comply with the County Council’s Crew Management Arrangements for Retained Firefighters. Firefighters who are on standby during fires or other incidents shall remain at the Station and perform such duties as may be assigned by the Station Officer from time to time during the callout. • Shall ensure that the Fire Station is kept clean & tidy at all times. Firefighting equipment shall be kept clean, maintained properly and stowed away in a safe manner. • Is required to adhere to and co-operate with all National and Local Agreements pertaining to the Fire Services. • Must attend Training Courses as directed. • Must undertake driving duties as required. • Must comply with all organisational policies, procedures and legislation. • Must undertake any other duties as may be assigned from time to time. 4. AGE: A Firefighter must be not less than 18 years of age on the first day of the month in which the latest date for receipt of applications occurs. A Birth Certificate must be submitted to the County Council as proof of age on or prior to employment. 6. RETIREMENT: The normal retirement age is 55. On reaching 55 years of age or sooner, if found to be medically unfit, a Firefighter shall cease to be employed. Firefighters who are physically capable of working beyond age 55 will have the option to continue working for a defined limited period of 1 year, subject to annual compulsory medical assessment on the basis of set medical standards under the Occupational Health Scheme. Such extended periods will be to the maximum age of 62 and, for the avoidance of any doubt, no firefighter can remain in service beyond their 62nd birthday, i.e., upon reaching age 62 years. 7. HEALTH: A firefighter shall be free from any defect, disease, physical or psychological condition that may adversely impact on their duties and must be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service. Before recruitment or promotion, in order to ascertain the health of a candidate, successful applicants shall undergo such medical examinations (which may include x-ray and/or other special tests) as the County Council considers necessary. The County Council will nominate the medical examiners. The candidate must comply, at their own expense, with such remedial requirements as the County Council consider necessary. An Operational Firefighter shall: - • Agree to participate in the Occupational Health Scheme for Retained Firefighters in operation by Cavan County Council; and • At any time, if requested by the County Council, undergo such medical examination(s) by medical examiner (s) as nominated by the County Council; and • Attend medical examinations in accordance with the frequency set down in the Occupational Health Scheme for Retained Firefighters as issued by the (LGMA) to Local Authorities Any defects discovered pertaining to a medical examination will not be remedied at the County Council's expense. Retention as an operational Firefighter will depend upon receipt of satisfactory reports by medical examiner(s) and to the general condition above as to health. An operational Firefighter is required to maintain an appropriate level of physical fitness. At the discretion of the County Council firefighters may be required to undertake occupational health assessments. Retained Fire-fighters will be required to undergo regular medical examinations at any time in a manner and form determined by Cavan County Council. Failure to pass any occupational health assessments may result in termination of contract.
Community Funding Lead (Grade VII)
CONTEXT LAWPRO is leading a ‘new approach’ to water management in Ireland that involves coordination and close cooperation between local authorities, WFD implementing bodies and stakeholders for the development and implementation of national River Basin Management Plans. The overall aim of this approach is to protect and restore good water quality in Ireland’s rivers, lakes, estuaries, groundwater, and coastal waters through integrated catchment management. Achieving that aim will require active involvement of local authorities and other public bodies, water users and local communities. Implementation of the River Basin Management Plan is co-ordinated on a regional basis by the five water and environment management committees, comprising representatives of each local authority in the Region and the EPA. This structure drives collaboration and integration, both within local authorities, between local authorities and externally with other public agencies. The shared service’s approach to delivery includes all stakeholders through a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency structure. This shared service arrangement takes account of the need to deliver maximum benefit with limited resource availability. LAWPRO ensures that its resources are utilised locally to implement the River Basin Management Plan for Ireland 2018 – 2021 and, the 2022 – 2027 Plan (Water Action Plan 2024). The strategic role of the Programme is: 2.1.1 To promote knowledge sharing and coordination in implementing the Water Action Plan 2024 and Programme of Measures (POMs) by local authorities, other public authorities, sectoral interests, and community groups. 2.1.2 To co-ordinate/undertake statutorily required public consultation in the development of the National RBMP and POMs and a public awareness campaign in water resources management. 2.1.3 To deliver on the actions assigned to them in the Water Action Plan 2.1.4 To seek consistency of Water Action Plan implementation across agencies through the operation of the WFD Regional Committees. 2.1.5 To assist the Minister and the EPA and work collaboratively with local authorities in the development of RBMPs and POMs. 2.1.6 To mobilise and support engagement of voluntary and community groups in protecting our natural waters. 2.1.7 To foster linkages with industry and agricultural sectors. 2.1.8 To develop linkages with local sectoral representative organisations, such as Catchment Partnerships, Rural Development Companies, Rivers Trusts, Tidy Towns Groups, business and industry sectors including Chambers of Commerce, farming organisations, sports clubs and volunteering sectors, angling and outdoor recreational user groups, etc. 2.2 RECRUITMENT DETAILS As part of the team structure of The Local Authority Waters Programme (LAWPRO), it is intended to immediately recruit one [1] position of Community Funding Lead (Administrative Officer – Grade VII). A panel will be formed from which any subsequent Community Funding Lead (Grade VII) fixed term positions may be filled, including posts that may arise in any of the LAWPRO locations. A review of LAWPRO is currently being undertaken by the County and City Management Association (CCMA) on behalf of the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage to inform the appropriate level of resources required to meet Water Framework Directive objectives into the future. Public consultation on the timetable and work programme for Ireland’s fourth cycle Water Action Plan 2028 – 2033 has commenced. Should current permanent/full-time Local Authority staff be successful and accept a post in this competition, appropriate secondment arrangements will be put in place. This will include capacity building of staff and working collaboratively with LAWPRO’s external partners and stakeholders, including community and voluntary organisations focussed on water quality projects and initiatives. The funding lead will be responsible for developing LAWPRO strategic funding relationships. The Community Funding Lead will also be an active member of LAWPRO’s Communities Team, working collaboratively with LAWPRO’s Catchment Science and Administration Teams and with other agencies, as required. Tasks associated with this role include: 3.1.1 Advise on the development of LAWPRO’s work programmes, its community funding schemes, and identification of new funding opportunities. 3.1.2 Leading the internal Funding Working Group to develop and implement LAWPRO funding schemes with agreement of the Senior Management Team. 3.1.3 Adherence to good governance through coordination of internal and external evaluation processes, ensuring rigorous, impartial procedures to assess applications. 3.1.4 Timely fund drawdown and delivery of projects, ensuring value for money, and compliance with applicable government circulars and local authority policies and procedures. 3.1.5 Preparation of funding reports for LAWPRO Senior Management Team, annual reports, Oversight Committee, Tipperary County Council Internal Auditor, Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage and other relevant bodies, as required. 3.1.6 Assessing the impact of funding schemes in terms of water quality outcomes. 3.1.7 Coordination and administration of funding schemes offered by LAWPRO to ensure the effective rollout and operation of schemes that are compliant with good governance and practices. 3.1.8 Reviewing and revising funding guidelines and providing analytical reports in relation to funding schemes. 3.1.9 Development of relationships and synergies with other public funding bodies in the climate action and biodiversity areas, such as Inland Fisheries Ireland, National Parks and Wildlife Services, Heritage Council, Local Authorities, Government Departments, etc. 3.1.10 Development of a LAWPRO Funding Strategy to secure sources of funding to support the delivery of actions under the Water Action Plan and foster strategic funding partnerships with relevant partners. 3.1.11 Identify and promote new funding sources such as EU Interreg and the private sector Corporate Social Responsibility Funds and recommend ways for LAWPRO and communities to access these funds to protect and restore water quality. 3.1.12 Develop links with LEADER companies to promote water related projects under theme 3 of the LEADER Programme 2023-2027 – Sustainable Development of the Rural Environment and Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation. 3.1.13 Research opportunities under national funding calls, such as the Just Transition Fund, Climate Action Fund, Nature Restoration Fund, Shared Island, to support the delivery of actions under the Water Action Plan. 3.1.14 Identify and disseminate information on any other water related funding opportunities for community organisations, local authorities and other relevant agencies. 3.1.15 Represent LAWPRO at events and carry out other multi-functional operations as required by the Director of Services. 3.1.16 Any other duties relevant to the role which may be identified from time to time. The LAWPRO Funding Lead will be employed by Kilkenny County Council or appointed by secondment arrangement where appropriate. 4.0 PARTICULARS OF OFFICE 4.1 SALARY The salary shall be fully inclusive and shall be as determined from time to time. The holder of the office shall pay to Kilkenny/Tipperary County Councils any fees or other monies (other than inclusive salary) payable to and received by him/her by virtue of his/her office or in respect of services which he/she is required by or under any enactment to perform. In accordance with EL02/2011 persons who are not serving Local Authority employees must be placed on the minimum of the scale. Where a person being appointed is a serving Local Authority employee normal starting pay rules will apply. The rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with government policy. The current salary scale for the position is €59,417 minimum of the scale to €77,243 maximum of the scale inclusive of LSIs. 4.2 SUPERANNUATION CONTRIBUTION 4.2.1 Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and Other Provisions) Act 2012 New members joining the public sector on or after 1st January 2013 will be required to join the Single Public Service Pension Scheme. It applies to all first-time entrants to the Public Service as well as former public servants returning to the public sector after a break of more than 26 weeks. Your contributions will be made up of 3% of your gross pensionable remuneration and 3.5% of your net pensionable remuneration (your gross pensionable remuneration less twice the value of the Contributory State Pension). Your normal retirement age under this scheme is the same age at which you can claim the Contributory State Pension. The minimum age for receipt of this pension is age 66. There is a compulsory retirement age of 70 years. 4.2.2 Persons who commenced in Public Service Employment after 6th April 1995 and prior to 1st January 2013: Persons who became pensionable employees after 6th April 1995 and prior to1st of January 2013, without a break in employment, will join the LocalGovernment (Superannuation) (Consolidation) Scheme 1998. Contributions are payable at the rate of 1.5% of your basic salary, 3.5% of basic salary less twice two times the value of the Contributory State Pension and a further 1.5% is payable for spouse and children’s contributions (*non-officer grades pay a co-ordinated contribution: ‘Non-New Entrants’ (those who became pensionable after 6th of April 1995 and prior to 1st April 2004) have a minimum retirement age of 60 and a compulsory retirement age of 70. ‘New Entrants’ (those who became pensionable after 1st April 2004 and prior to 1st January 2013) have minimum retirement age of 65 with no compulsory retirement age. 4.2.3 Persons who commenced in Public Service Employment before 6th April 1995: Their minimum retirement age is 60 and they have a compulsory retirement age of 70 as per Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government Circular Letter CL/2/2019. Contributions are 5% of basic salary and 1.5% of basic salary toward Widow’s & Orphan’s or Spouse & Children’s Scheme. 4.3 PENSION ABATEMENT If the appointee was previously employed in the Civil Service or in the Public Service please note that the Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and Other Provisions) Act 2012 (Section 52) includes a provision which extends abatement of pension for all Civil and Public Servants who are re-employed where a Public Service Pension is in payment. This provision to apply abatement across the wider public service came into effect on 1 November 2012. This may have pension implications for any person appointed to this position that is currently in receipt of a Civil or Public Service pension or has a preserved Civil or Public Service pension which will come into payment during his/her employment in this position. 4.4 PENSION ACRUAL A 40-year limit on total service that can be counted towards pension where a person has been a member of more than one pre-existing public service pension scheme (i.e. non-Single Scheme) as per the 2012 Act shall apply. This 40-year limit is provided for in the Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and Other Provisions) Act 2012. This may have implications for any appointee who has acquired pension rights in a previous public service employment. 4.5 PROBATION The following provisions shall apply: 4.5.1 There shall be a period after such appointments take effect during which such persons shall hold such office on probation; 4.5.2 Such period shall be one year, but the Chief Executive may at his/her discretion extend such period; 4.5.3 Such persons shall cease to hold such employment at end of the period of probation unless during such period the Chief Executive has certified that the service of such persons is satisfactory. 4.6 PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL QUESTIONNAIRE/ EXAMINATION For the purposes of satisfying the requirement as to health, it will be necessary for each successful applicant, before he/she is appointed, to complete a pre-employment questionnaire which will be examined by a qualified medical practitioner to be nominated by Kilkenny County Council. In some circumstances an in-person medical examination may have to be arranged. In the event the applicant does not take up the post following the pre-employment medical, he/she will reimburse Kilkenny County Council the cost of the medical questionnaire/ examination, as per a previously signed understanding. 4.7 HOURS OF WORK The hours of work are 35 hours per week including, part of the work schedule that is required outside of normal office hours. The salary being paid for the post is in respect of all 35 hours worked. 4.8 ANNUAL LEAVE Annual leave entitlement for this position is 30 days per annum in accordance with Department of Environment, Community & Local Government Circular LG(P) 07/2011. 4.9 TRAVEL When required to do so holders of the office shall hold a full driving licence for class B vehicles free from endorsement and disqualification and, shall drive a motor car in the course of their duties and for this purpose provide and maintain a car to the satisfaction of the Local Authority. The Role Job Description The Assistant Principal plays a key leadership role in Revenue’s compliance functions making a strong contribution to the delivery of Revenue's strategic objectives. Two panels1 may be created from this competition: • Transfer Pricing – Audit and Compliance • Transfer Pricing – International Taxation. Transfer Pricing – Audit and Compliance The Assistant Principal in this role will be responsible for conducting transfer pricing risk assessments and compliance interventions, to include transfer pricing audits. The Assistant Principal will have the capacity to undertake these interventions and the ability to lead and direct a team conducting a number of such interventions. They will be expected to challenge and confront non-compliance in the area of transfer pricing. The Assistant Principal will also provide transfer pricing support and advice to colleagues across operational divisions in Revenue. Transfer Pricing – International Taxation The Assistant Principal in this role will be involved in international transfer pricing matters including resolving transfer pricing-related tax disputes with foreign jurisdictions and assisting in Ireland’s participation in OECD and EU transfer pricing policy developments. Incentivised Scheme for Early Retirement (ISER) It is a condition of the Incentivised Scheme for Early Retirement (ISER) as set out in Department of Finance Circular 12/09 that retirees, under that Scheme, are not eligible to apply for another position in the same employment or the same sector. Therefore, such retirees may not apply for this position. Department of Health and Children Circular (7/2010) The Department of Health Circular 7/2010 dated 1 November 2010 introduced a Targeted Voluntary Early Retirement (VER) Scheme and Voluntary Redundancy Schemes (VRS). It is a condition of the VER scheme that persons availing of the scheme will not be eligible for reemployment in the public health sector or in the wider Public Service or in a body wholly or mainly funded from public moneys. The same prohibition on re-employment applies under the VRS, except that the prohibition is for a period of 7 years. People who availed of the VER scheme are not eligible to compete in this competition. People who availed of the VRS scheme and who may be successful in this competition will have to prove their eligibility (expiry of period of non-eligibility). Salary: Personal Pension Contribution (PPC Rate) The salary scale for the position of Assistant Principal in Revenue, as of 1 March 2025, is as follows: Personal Pension Contribution (PPC) €80,668 €83,639 €86,651 €89,672 €92,690 €94,431 €97,474 (LSI1) €100,530 (LSI 2) The PPC pay rate applies when the individual is required to pay a Personal Pension Contribution (otherwise known as a main scheme contribution) in accordance with the rules of their main/personal superannuation scheme. This is different to a contribution in respect of membership of a Spouses’ and Children’s scheme, or the Additional Superannuation Contributions (ASC). A different rate will apply where the appointee is not required to make a Personal Pension Contribution. Long service increments may be payable after 3(LSI1) and 6(LSI2) years’ satisfactory service at the maximum of the scale. Hours of Attendance Hours of attendance will be fixed from time to time but will amount to not less than 41 hours and 15 minutes gross or 35 hours net per week. Annual Leave The annual leave allowance will be 30 working days a year. This allowance is subject to the usual conditions regarding the granting of annual leave and is on the basis of a five-day week and is exclusive of the usual public holidays.
