Receptionist
To ensure the smooth daily operations of the Front Office Department, that all requested reports are completed as requested, and that all postings and other transactions are completed as standards. To maintain highest standard of service to guests throughout the Front Office Department at all times. To actively promote good customer relations. To assist in F&B departments when applicable and to the needs of the business To be fully conversant and comply with health, safety, hygiene, fire and security regulations of the Hotel. To maximize the room sales potential of the hotel, by skilful selling. To ensure that registration cards are printed daily and are completed correctly on check-in, the information is entered in the computer, and a key card is given to each arrival. To ensure that a complete handover is written to the oncoming shift, making sure that guest special rates, and special requests are noted and go through, eg 6 pm releases, etc. To ensure that your floats are correct. To be in regular contact with the Accommodation Department throughout the day and ensure that they are aware of changes or updates in relation to the bedrooms, such as stay on’s etc. To capture guest business cards at reception and update the client database accordingly. Develop sales leads and setup appointments for show arounds in conjunction with the General Manager/Owners of the Hotel

Health care services in Ireland are undertaking a significant reform programme in line with Government policy. The “Community Healthcare Organisations” report was commissioned by the HSE in May 2013, to review Community Healthcare services. This report provides a framework for the governance and organisation of all of Community Healthcare services. The structures facilitated the move to an increasingly integrated healthcare system which is responsive to people’s needs at the lowest level of complexity, and which will ensure a focus on the population in local areas. The recommendations of the CHO Report emphasises the need for strong leadership and ownership at local level, bringing the relationship between primary care, specialist older persons, disabilities and mental health services, as well as advancing the health and wellbeing of the population into a much more focused and integrated place in each local area. This will ensure a greater focus on service delivery and decision making at local level informed by national frameworks, which will allow the HSE to: Community Healthcare Services are the broad range of services that include Primary Care, Disability Services, Older Person Services, Mental Health and Health & Wellbeing Services. These services are delivered through the HSE and its funded agencies to people in local communities, as close as possible to people’s homes.
