Position Purpose and Primary Accountabilities Applications are invited for the fixed term position of an IT Intern role. The successful candidate will work with the PepsiCo IT Teams supporting its operational activities in Cork and in other PepsiCo/PGCS plants located in the North/South America and Asia. IT functions include – Application support/development, Infrastructure and Network support, Security, Service management and End user Services. Participate in troubleshooting IT issues and implementing corrective actions. Maintain equipment and users inventory lists. Support IT Teams with reporting and analysis for Weekly/ Monthly reviews. Support IT strategic projects being rollout across the Cork Campus. Attend and participate in IT Team meetings. The position will also involve collaborating with the IT Global PepsiCo Teams, predominately based in Dallas, USA. Qualifications/Requirements Essential Criteria Student pursuing a BIS, Computer Science & Information Technology or equivalent qualification. Good understanding of Excel Spread sheets and pivot tables. Comfortable working on activities where attention to detail is critical. Demonstrate initiative and make suggestions – key to the role. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Good planning, organisation and multi-tasking skills.
