Job Summary Duration: Permanent . A panel may be formed from which future similar vacancies may be filled; such a panel will remain active for a maximum period of 12 months. Hours of Work: This is a 0.5 FTE post (17.5 hours per week). The working hours will be 9-5 on Monday, with Tuesday - Friday being flexible hours, which can be agreed with your line manager. Salary: The salary will be paid at a pro rata, per annum basis. The salary for this role is  €13,940.50  per year. Basic Function: The primary function of this role is to carry out front of house duties for the Moorepark Food Research Centre as well as providing administrative support where required. Background: Teagasc Moorepark is located on a 110 hectare site in North Cork with a dedicated Food Research Centre, an extensive Animal and Grassland Research Facility and a Pig Production Development Facility. The primary focus of the Food Research Centre at Moorepark is dairy science and food for health, including dairy-based ingredients, cheese research, flavour chemistry, fermented foods, bioactive compounds, milk quality and safety, food microbiology and microbiome research. For more information on the centre, please click here. Job Objectives This role will require the successful candidate to provide the primary reception cover for the Moorepark Food Research Centre (MFRC).
