IPIC is focused on training Europe’s future photonics research leaders and is currently hosting the  SPARKLE fellowship programme . It is co-funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action COFUND programme and Science Foundation Ireland offering 27 x two year postdoctoral fellowships. Position Summary The INFANT Research Centre was established in 2013 and is dedicated to maternal and child health research. The overarching vision of INFANT is to advance maternal and child health translational research and to place Ireland to the forefront of this field. INFANT is hosted by University College Cork (UCC), co-located in CUH and CUMH and is focused on delivering scientific excellence and impact through a range of activities in academic, translational and commercial areas. The INFANT team is a diverse group of clinicians, scientists, engineers who are supported by selected industry partners, international collaborators and business and regulatory advisors. INFANT has over 100 staff, a funding portfolio of over €45M and collaborates with over 40 industry partners and over 50 international academic Institutions. The Centre is funded by a range of national and international funding agencies, EU, industry and philanthropy.  INFANT Research Centre is now accepting applications for a Research Support Officer- Administration (Senior Programme Manager), supporting a range of research studies including the c4c programme portfolio.  Conect4children (collaborative network for European clinical trials for children - c4c) is a pan-European network that aims to build capacity for the management of multinational paediatric clinical trials across Europe whilst ensuring the voices of children, young people and their families are heard. c4c is a large public-private partnership, funded under IMI2, one of the largest public-private partnerships in health and life sciences in the world. The programme is scaling up the trials that it will run across Europe and a number of clinical trials are due to commence in clinical sites in Ireland. The senior programme manager will be responsible day-to-day coordination, site contracts, reporting and budget management. Engaging with senior stakeholders from academia, clinical sites, industry and beneficiaries in the c4c consortium will be a key part of the role, as well as liaising with the national hub and national sites. Supporting the in4kids and c4c Network generally and communication platforms in particular will also form part of this role.  INFANT seeks a dynamic, innovative and committed Senior Programme Manager to manage the c4c project responsibilities of INFANT/UCC. This will involve work across all study sites and to co-ordinate national communications to promote paediatric research in Ireland. The post holder will provide administrative support to the project PI and work closely with other team members to provide general administrative support for all project activities. The Senior Programme Manager will be required to have extensive contracting, reporting, website maintenance, clinical research, data management and budget management skills.  This is a full time post but an appointment at 0.8 FTE may also be considered. Project Title: c4c Project Post Duration: 2 years Salary: €60,000 p.a. (Personal Rate), pro rata, FTE dependent. Role Summary Provision of high level administrative support in a complex research environment consisting of many interdisciplinary programme grants and multiple Principal Investigators is often associated with research expertise in the relevant research area.
