Essential: • Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in disability services to include an in-depth knowledge and understanding of: -Legislation, regulation and standards that govern the delivery of services to people with a disability both in residential and day support services. -Quality Assurance Frameworks and their application in an organisation like Avista. -Risk Management including risk assessment, risk registers, risk reporting and monitoring. Health and Safety legislation. • Full clean Irish Manual driving licence and use of car. Senior Social Worker
Senior Social Worker Based in CRC Lead Agency Children’s Disability Network Team, Clondalkin, Full-time Permanent, 35 hours per week. The CRC Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) provides interventions to children from the age of 0-18 years, presenting with complex developmental needs requiring inter-disciplinary intervention. The Senior Social Worker is a valuable member of the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT). The CDNT provides an evidence-based service in line with family centred practice and Progressing Disability Services (PDS) principles. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team. The successful candidate will carry a case load, supervise Social Work staff & students as required and take the Social Work lead in key areas of service development, reporting to the CDNT manager and for clinical supervision to the Principal Social Worker.
