Research Intern, Early Learning Initiative

Purpose of Position: The ELI Research Internship is available to National College of Ireland students to support the ELI Research Team in the research and evaluation activities of ELI Reporting to: ELI Researcher and ELI National Centre Assistant Director Key Relationships:  Candidates should note that they may be required to submit documentary evidence in support of any particulars given by them in their application for the post. A shortlisting panel is generally made up of two senior grade staff members from the relevant department for which the role is being recruited. Sharing of your data Where you have been successfully shortlisted for a post, each interview panel member will be furnished with a copy of the relevant information of those who will be attending interview in order that they can review applications in advance of the interview process. All such information will be returned to NCI and shredded following the competition process. Some of the interview panel will be external interviewers, who are not employees of NCI but are engaged for the purpose and are strictly subject to the rules and policies of the College. Programme Director With Selamatkan Yaki

Selamatkan Yaki is a multi-faceted conservation programme working to save the Critically Endangered Sulawesi-crested macaque (known as the yaki) in Indonesia. Their efforts comprise education and outreach, protected area management and sustainable development, all based on long-term research exploring the lives of both the macaques and people. Selamatkan Yaki is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join their team as Programme Director (PD) . The PD will work directly with the Programme Manager, Programme Supervisor and Team Leaders to support the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all conservation and research activities. Their main responsibilities will include the strategic conservation planning for the programme, stakeholder engagement and support, leveraging and overseeing funding, and co-production of scientific output. They will be responsible for evaluating and reporting on ongoing population monitoring, education, and wildlife trade mitigation strategy projects. The PD is expected to act independently and communicate strongly with team members, stakeholders and partners. As their primary funder, Dublin Zoo is assisting Selamatkan Yaki with the recruitment of a Programme Director.
