Reporting to the Manager Ground Compliance & Service Delivery, the Compliance Specialist will assist and support the Self Handling Airports (DUB, ORK, SNN) and Network Airports to ensure that all areas of Ground Operations are compliant with all necessary regulatory standards and the Aer Lingus Ground Operations Manual (GOM).  The Compliance Officer shall also implement the internal inspection program across all Airports and will be the central point for all data collection from these inspections and will develop a suite of management reports detailing the level of compliance as a measurement from the internal audits.  Additionally they will manage all Ground Operations, Central Compliance, IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), Irish Aviation Authority (IAA), or 3rd party airline audit preparation, ensure Ground Operations meets all its regulatory requirements and act as an Aer Lingus representative during these audits. Your role: Monitor compliance through effective monitoring of EASA basic regulation and Statutory Instruments Develop and maintain procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations within ground operations and with 3rd party handing partners Implement full review and update to current Ground Operations Manual to ensure newly released IGOM industry standard is adopted Act as a key stakeholder in the management and development of key operational alliances and joint ventures to ensure procedures are compatible  Prepare, participate and administer Ground Operations technical group meetings between the management team, developing and implementing ensuing procedures agreed at the meeting.  Liaise with Central Ground Operations on compliance issues to ensure compliant operations
Implement Internal inspection program for each Self Handling Airport to ensure compliant operations
 Develop and introduce management statistics and compliance reports as a result of the internal auditing programme and ensure compliant operations
 Assist functional areas with the development of Corrective Action Plans to ensure audit findings are recognised, actioned and completed Ensure all documentation used across Self Handling Airports is up to date and version controlled
Liaise with Training Manager to ensure training courses maintain compliance according to any changes in the GOM Prepare and Manage any audits conducted on Dublin Station by internal or external auditors
Support and assist in the preparation, analysis and completion of Hazard Identification Risk Analyses’ (HIRAs) and manage any corrective actions identified
Support and assist management team in promoting Compliance Prepare reports, statistics and analyse data for Department Managers, as requested
