During this experience, you'll be part of a wide apprentice community; spanning across Dublin and London, and across a variety of business units and roles. You'll also have access to a broader group of people that will support you throughout to develop both personally & professionally. As an apprentice, year one will be primarily focused on understanding the company and gaining the skills needed to do the job. Then you'll progressively transition into the Business Development Associate role while continuing to attend college. These are some of the first year activities you'll be part of: • Learning Salesforce's portfolio and be comfortable talking about it • Invest time to become a Trailhead Ranger • Get a 360 degree view of how large organisations run • Get secondments into other areas of the business to further your knowledge • Support fellow Business Developers by creating investigative reports • Conduct research into new business opportunities • Gain industry knowledge to develop a point of view for customers • Learn & develop skills that help you build and maintain customer relationships What are we looking for? Over the lifetime of the apprenticeship a total of eight blocks, each of two weeks’ duration, will be spent attending class and practical laboratories at TU Dublin.  In addition, during the on-the-job elements, a significant period of time will be spent in the form of work based learning with the employer in order to complete the Programme modules. Four modules will be completed in year 1 and four in year 2. WHO IS THE PROGRAMME SUITED TO? People seeking skilled employment often face a challenge that relevant work experience is a prerequisite for many jobs. But for many people, including school leavers, it is difficult to gain the required experience without being in the workplace. An apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain the knowledge, skills, and experience needed for entry or advancement into a particular skilled career field. This two-year programme was developed in collaboration with the telecommunications industry and is designed to take a low skills entry level position to full occupational proficiency. QUALIFICATION Higher Certificate in Engineering in Telecommunications and Data Network Engineering (Level 6) At the completion of the new Apprenticeship Programme, the apprentice will receive a QQI accredited Higher Certificate in Telecommunications and Data Network Engineering which will be a nationally recognised qualification.
